Okay mates, keep the Marathon Dimmies in the ice box, because we're going to sort out your October Monday night feed for a whole new month of noodles.

This time round, we've got what I'm going to chuck some tickets down on as the best bloody ramen you'll taste in this hemisphere.

Erick is bringing his shio ramen, Ramenya Yanagi, to our little slice of hospitality, with a vege version for those interested, and a couple of snacks to boot, so you can finally take advantage of those last holes in the belt for maximum value.

All October every Monday (5th, 12th, 19th and the 26th) gets a look in so plenty of noodles for you and your nan.

We'll drop some more info on the menu while we're panicking as we edge closer and realise we're not ready.

Regarding bookings, there are none, so I reckon wander in off the street like the olden-days and we'll get you sorted.

Sadly, we won't have gluten free options this time around, but we will have gluten free wine, so I reckon you could make a meal out of that?

Last Monday we completed our first week of Ramenya Yanagi’s first pop-up! We can’t believe so many people came to support us and we couldn’t be more grateful for each one of you who made this possible!

We’ll see you all this Monday (12/10) from 5pm-9pm (or until sold out) for another round of ramen at the best wine bar in Melbourne @whitebark.wine 🍷🍜 by @whitebark.wine

Mates.

We've been piss farting around and left you lot in the dark on the comings and goings for this weekend.

We're keeping it pretty standard here, right up until Sundee where we do a little disappearing act for a few days to see a bloke about a bar.

Back on the 30th for good local food and bevvies.

Legends.

Here she is.

Three years of small scale bevies from Australia and New Zealand.

Three years of local mates growing stuff, fermenting stuff and stuffing stuff.

Three years of mouthing off at food media for being a bit too shit.

Three years of storing heaps of off cuts, trimmings and unlabelled animal parts coz it may one day be a great bloody dish.

Three years of hard yakka, blood, sweat, beers and tears.

Three years of me monologueing yet another whinge as if you asked me but you obviously didn't but I'll be buggered if I'm not going to dole out my opinion anyway.

Three years of kangaroo and chips.

Three years of introducing strangers along the long and narrow over good plonk and offal on the off chance we might have a little community to show for it.

And we do have that little community.

So you're all bloody invited. Yeah, even you Tom.

Heres the plan. Sundee, 13th of September.
We'll have a little barbecue on our front, we'll bring out some big delicious bottles, we'll chat some shit and we'll even have some pressies for our locals and regulars.

Yeah nah to bookings as per usual, roll in whenever you feel like it I reckon.

Champions,

We're back, the bars back, the (door) knob is back and Mondee Night noodles are back.

We ran into Dan, half of @naga.dining while he was out on the grog and with a little bit of liquid charisma and a few nah yeahs, got him to sign up for a month of Mondays. He even said he'd bring his other half along for some extra glory.

4 Mondays, the 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st, we've got Dan handling the long and wigglys with Thai noodles and snacks, while Kris will be putting good drops in glasses with some very spiffy cocktails.

We'll be offering vego options alongside meat, but no dice on the gluten free noodle options sorry legends.

Like any good bar, reservations are a nah champ. Best method is to stumble in.

Haaaaayyyyy!!!! We’re baaaccckkk!! Well, almost! We are at the tail end of our little holiday but we are already cooking! Literally one day after landing, chef @cam_taysty is back in the kitchen. Three big events lined up for July!

Legends,

While we're off challenging the impressively efficient beer distribution industry in Japan, we didn't want to bugger off without sparing a thought for those left behind. Namely, you lot. Sucks to be you.

Gloating aside, we weren't going to just disappear without something brilliant on the other side, and this one is pretty bloody special.

We've managed to convince Cam, Trish and the crew at Pebble dining to revisit our little street of legends for a few nights of debauchery and absolute top shelf cheffing.

Friday, 10th of July to Monday the 13th, 4 nights of barely controlled chaos, flavour and immaculate haircuts.

So if you've been missing Pebble and Cam, or Sandra, or even Josh for some odd bloody reason, this will sort you out.
