Love the team. Inspiring effort by everyone. So happy to be able to race with these folks. Our competitive juices were flowing and we brought home the win.

Had such a blast at @ragnarrelay SoCal. Many thanks to @altrarunning for their support and @sauri.usa for making some 🔥 singlets.

Most of all thanks to the LA run community. We’re all on the same team and the encouragement and love was felt and appreciated! 🖤🖤🖤 by @whitemambaa

Always. Be. Supporting.

Injury knocked me out of our second planned workout session of the day, but support never quits. taken in Santa Monica, California by @whitemambaa

Still processing last weekend’s race. What a day.

Really did not think breaking 2:30 was in the cards but everything came together on Sunday. Made aggressive decisions all race, bet on myself, and it paid off.

So grateful for the friends I had there with me, the ones I knew were following along, and the ones I get to train and race with in LA. Thinking of you all really kept me going when things got tough. A special thank you to @jenyih and @riiiyooh for coming all the way up to Sacramento for support. It meant the world to me.

This was my first race in almost 2 years, and I felt a lot of doubt and uncertainty leading up to it, about what I was capable after so long without a test at the marathon. I was afraid I might fail, might not be able to PR or improve anymore, but I had to try.

You’ll never know what’s possible if you don’t go for it, and going for it is a little less scary with the right people by your side.

Last two pictures are me at my happiest: In tremendous pain and thrilled to be feeling it, having just done what I didn’t think was possible.

Now we’ve got more work to do.

On to the next one. taken in Sacramento, California by @whitemambaa
