A split second, transformed into a signed edition.

With The Landing, @alan_schaller captures a moment that might be easy to miss: a goose touching down on the water in Hyde Park.

But through his lens, the scene becomes more than an observation of urban wildlife. Light, shadow, movement, and geometry come together in a composition that feels both spontaneous and precise.
Part of Alan Schaller’s Street Safari series, The Landing reflects his distinctive way of photographing animals in urban environments, reducing a scene to its essential forms while keeping the energy of the moment alive.

Now, this exceptional image is available as an exclusive signed edition, produced in WhiteWall gallery quality.

A fleeting moment of light, captured forever as a signed edition.

For the @geomagazin Anniversary Edition, landscape photographer Stefan Hefele selected a scene from the African savannah that lasted only for a brief moment.

A single lion moves through its habitat. The warm light of the setting sun makes the air shimmer, thousands of insects fill the scene, and the Drakensberg mountains rise in the background.

The photograph was taken during a safari in the Klaserie Nature Reserve in South Africa. Stefan had to react quickly: the light breaking through the clouds appeared only for a short time, transforming the scene into something almost cinematic.

Part of the GEO Anniversary Edition, this exclusive work is available as a signed, numbered, and limited edition, printed by WhiteWall.

• Stefan Hefele – African Savannah
• Photo Print Under Glossy Acrylic Glass
• ArtBox in black oak

In 2020, the Ari Statue of Peace was installed in Berlin Moabit to commemorate the so-called “comfort women” across the Asia-Pacific region, who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese military during World War II. Its arrival prompted protests from the Japanese government and a wider debate over how their stories should be remembered.

For Berlin-based artist Miji Ih, the Statue of Peace became the starting point for her engagement with the so-called “comfort women.” Her exhibition "Mouths: On Water and Whisky" connects their history with the lived realities of women around U.S. military bases in Japan, South Korea, and Germany.

“I wanted to create a space of remembrance for social stigma and exclusion, for the silence that formed around them, and for the ongoing will of women to live against all resistance. By addressing the recurring realities in women’s lives across different times and places, I seek to discover the ordinary moments within what was left behind.” – Miji Ih

On view until 13 January as part of the Emerging Berlin talent program.

The exhibition was curated by Marie-Luise Mayer (Exhibitions Manager at Fotografiska Berlin), in collaboration with the artist, and produced in partnership with IFA Berlin and Volkswagen R, with the kind cooperation of our photography print partner WhiteWall.

“For me, it is important to see my work printed in gallery quality on the wall. Whether at exhibitions, at an art fair, or on a collector’s wall, it always gives me a feeling of happiness.”
— Achim Katzberg

As the first winner of our Irys x WhiteWall competition “Hot Spots”, @achim_katzberg brings an urban, graphic, and minimal perspective to street photography.

His images turn everyday city spaces into carefully composed visual stages: glass, reflections, façades, lines, grids, shadows, and passing figures become part of a quiet choreography.
What may look reduced at first glance reveals more the longer you look. A person behind frosted glass. A gesture reflected in a window. Movement reduced to shape. Architecture becoming rhythm.

For Achim, print gives these moments a different presence. Details become more visible, compositions become more tangible, and the image finds its place beyond the screen.

Based in Mainz, Germany, Achim Katzberg works as a professional photographer with a focus on artistic street photography, architecture, and documentary photography.

We’re proud to be a founding partner of the @irysphotos app, a space dedicated to real photography, high-resolution imagery, and curated visual storytelling.

Congratulations, Achim 👏

A sky that lasted only a few minutes, captured forever as a signed edition.

For the @geomagazin Anniversary Edition, landscape photographer Alexander Ehhalt selected a moment from the Lofoten Islands that felt almost unreal.

After an exhausting first day in Norway, the northern lights began to move above Skagsanden Beach. Then, within moments, the sky changed completely: a powerful vortex of light formed above the frozen landscape.

Alexander reacted instantly, changed his camera direction by 90 degrees, and captured the formation at its most intense.

The result is "Out of This World". A photograph that brings together everything that defines his landscape work: atmosphere, precision, patience, and the ability to respond when nature gives you only a few seconds.

Part of the GEO Anniversary Edition, this exclusive work is available as a signed, numbered, and limited edition, printed by WhiteWall.
