Mushroom Walk this Saturday
e-mail notice to be sent later
Last month I announced it as Glen Spey.
Also thinking of Damascus Forest (where these photos, except the last 2, are from). Please let me know if you have any requests.

A few people have reached out about seeing the land in Glen Spey that is for sale. While I am happy to work plans out individually, today I am just sending out this post on short notice. I'll be getting to the land for a little bit later this morning. If anyone wants to come check out the place around noon, that should be good timing.
Otherwise, if you want to see the place, just let me know your availability. We will have some mushroom walks there too coming up shortly.

My Glen Spey property is in the hills just north of this bend of the Hawk's Nest. I met the realtor there yesterday. If you are interested in a private deal, like owner-financing, now is the time. taken in Hawks Nest, Port Jervis, Ny by @whitmore.nathaniel

About to send out an e-mail update with a schedule of mushroom walks for the next month. To sign up, send a note to kobudokurafuto@gmail.com

If you are signed up and not receiving e-mails, please check your spam folders. It seems a lot of e-mails bounce back. taken in Milford, Pennsylvania by @whitmore.nathaniel

Back in Milford, PA and paying a visit to Grey Towers for mushroom photography. This is just a sampling of what I saw along the short walk from the parking lot to the arbor by the castle. If there was a frying pan and flame up here, I could have easily grabbed enough for a meal - and if it were allowed, which I am thinking maybe not?

Anyway, we had a massive amount of rain last night and it has been rainy besides. So, now that I will be coming to Milford regularly again, I am going to line up some walks. (Already have a few scheduled in other areas for the next month.) Mondays and Tuesdays I will be here in Milford during the days. Please let me know what works for you if you are interested in attending. I will try for both days in the upcoming weeks, and probably some Fridays. (Those are also the days I would be available for shiatsu in the area.)

About notifications, I try to post notifications and reminders on social media, and I try to send out e-mails from kobudokurafuto@gmail.com. E-mail is primary, since I don't have a website and social media is fleeting, but I use the libraries' computers and it is not always possible to time that as well as might be ideal for the notifications. (Because of traveling to Japan, I have not sent e-mails in quite some time.) So, please sign up at kobudokurafuto@gmail.com to receive notices of walks, and if you use social media check that too for updates and last-minute announcements. taken in Grey Towers by @whitmore.nathaniel

Please keep in mind that I am available for private hire for plant and mushroom walks. If you have a group, or want to explore your own land, this rainy weather makes for good mushrooming. 570 224 0264 taken in Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River by @whitmore.nathaniel

Look at the "stem" on this Puffball! An even bigger one was across the street, attacked by a lawnmower.

Let's do some mushroom walks!
Maybe Saturday???

Apologies for missing so much of the season. It is always a bit tiring to return from Japan, between the jet-lag and trying to get into the swing of things. ...but the rain keeps coming and I would love to lead some mushroom forays! taken in Damascus, Pennsylvania by @whitmore.nathaniel

This is one of the towers on the Matsue Castle stone wall. After working on the house for @dan_santoro that was designed by Japanese architect @tsuruoono , it was wonderful to visit these old buildings in Japan (this castle was built over 400 years ago) and get a sense of how far back the framing tradition goes. taken in Matsue Castle by @whitmore.nathaniel
