Here he is! @gordonsmedtart will be filling in at the gallery on Saturday the 19th while Suzanne is traveling. He’s not used to sitting in one spot that long, so drop in and say hello while you are in town for @tasteoflosgatos and enjoy the Happy Place exhibit which ends soon.

A quiet Sunday view from the back windows, with two very different works playing beautifully off one another—Gordon Smedt’s nostalgic Mother’s Day in the foreground and Lilas Blano’s vibrant, layered Duality beyond.

Both are part of our current exhibition, Happy Place, on view through September 27.

Gordon Smedt
Mother’s Day, 52 × 48 in.

Lilas Blano
Duality, 46 × 37 in.

Sunday at the gallery. ☀️
A different view today—from across the street. If you’re strolling downtown or coming out of the Apple Store, look up and you’ll find Whitney Modern on the second floor.
And right now, a little glimpse of Happy Place, our current exhibition is waiting in the window. “Here, There and Everywhere” a painting by Lilas Blano is looking out over Santa Cruz Avenue.
Come in through Gallery 24, upstairs to Whitney Modern, and see the rest of the show.
Happy Place
Gordon Smedt + Lilas Blano
On view through September 27
