FREE.GME VOL.1 is OUT NOW!

It's been a insanely long time since I decided to release something and right now is the most i have felt like I am who I want to be. Thank you to everyone who is supported me over the years and then some. I can be a tardy person and sometimes very chaotic but I always choose to lead with love and today especially it has been received.

A few special thanks to @em_nadjinal, @thatmoronsaint & @pyrokidsosa who's voices can also be heard on this project. Special thanks to @hpblk.wav who spoke to MikeGuyver and inspired him to actually do something.

I like to again thank all the local music scenes who are holding themselves down. Its not hard to do maintain a community but also be a creative inside of it. You are seen.

To all the creatives who may experience this, this is my personal form of creative freedom. A lot of the project was meant trusting myself to create without the worry of how it may be received or understood and allowing myself to move with intent with what feels right instead of what may work. Even the album tracks were different before I started this idea. Follow your heart and your art deserves to be felt.

To all the fellow musicians and creatives we have lost, you will not be forgotten, from the Mangaka's to the Producers. I think about you often Elijah Nang.

And lastly, to anyone who has stumbled on this page or just met me. Thank you for making me feel seen.

Returning to the essence. I lost my way in many ways this year. 2024 was hard for me. Depression set in at multiple times and manifested in many ways. I woke up victorious and went to bed at a loss more times I could count but I exist THEREFORE I AM.

If I've met you, know that I love you. If our relationship has lost its way, i still you and to those I am yet to meet, I am excited to love you like those of the present and the past and arguably more than i have ever loved before.

Tell someone you love them and leave all that old shit in the fucking past. Grief is a raid boss so squad up. Learn to love closely and at a distance and take the time to reassess who you think you fucking are. You are somebody's everything and everyone else's nothing and that's okay because you are the protagonist of your story and not everyone's.

Stand for something or stand for nothing. Bax a racist/sexist/anything-ist in their jawside. All black and POC lives matter (yes this includes my LGBQTAI+ family. I see you.). Colourism is wack, you exist and you are beautiful as you are. Pray for a warless world and those who have lost their way in life in body, mind and soul. The keyword in Community is UNITY and we can not have a better future for all the kids of the future if we as a people remain divided.

I would say "I'll see you in 2025" but... let's flip it this year. YOU will see me in 2025.

I’ve been building my own video program under a idea known as WHOKMY SYSTEMS called FRAMELOCK VSC-01.

The idea came from wanting video editing to feel closer to how I make music: working with BPM, beat grids, sequences, phrases, repetition, variation and controlled randomness. Instead of manually cutting every piece of footage, FRAMELOCK analyses the music and source videos, then creates a beat-synchronised visual arrangement that I can direct and reshape.

It can:

• Detect BPM, beats, downbeats and changes in tempo
• Build edits for single tracks or longer DJ mixes
• Detect and organise scenes from multiple videos
• Match calmer or more active footage to different parts of the music
• Create random, sequential and repeating visual patterns
• Lock specific shots to individual cuts
• Edit visual phrases with frame-accurate In and Out points
• Produce landscape, vertical and square versions
• Add Sony Telop-inspired text and broadcast graphics
• Create datamosh effects around cuts, beats and accents
• Run the finished video through an NTSC-RS analogue/VHS processing chain
• Export a finished MP4, an editable timeline and a readable edit plan so you can use in other pieces of software.

The visual direction is influenced by old broadcast equipment, video synthesisers, VHS editing, music hardware, DAWs, samplers, arcade interfaces and the kind of strange late-night television graphics that felt like they came from their own world.

The idea is trying to make something that replaces the creative decisions of an editor. I’m building a system that generates a strong rhythmic foundation, gives me different directions to react to and lets me control exactly where the important visual moments happen. Music being the center and the visuals accompanying the sound.

The current version is FRAMELOCK VSC-01 v0.44.0, and it’s gradually becoming a complete rhythmic video sequencing and analogue finishing system. Everything is using open-source software or ideas and i may make this open to the public.

Still developing. Still testing. Still adding ideas.

WHOKMY ARCHIVE PLAYER — VERSION 1.1 is now live

SYSTEM BUILD: 1.1.100

• RESET STACK
Restart the archive from a fresh cycle at any time. Likes, notes and previous responses remain saved.

• GUIDED HOW TO
A new step-by-step tutorial highlights every major section and control individually, with Previous and Next navigation. It opens automatically for first-time listeners and can be reopened through HOW TO.

• TIME REMAINING
The Remaining display now includes the approximate hours and minutes left in the stack alongside the number of unheard tracks.

• NEW SONG NOTICES
Returning listeners will receive an alert when new archive tracks have been added since their previous visit. Nothing appears when there are no new songs.

• PLAYER SETTINGS
Listeners can disable the animated background and choose whether completed track identities remain exposed when revisiting songs.

• SMOOTHER PLAYBACK
Previous, Next, Reset Stack and Auto Play transitions have been strengthened to prevent overlapping requests and stale playback events. The next signal is also prepared in advance for faster switching.

• CHANGE LIST
Version updates are now documented at the bottom of the Archive Player and Private Access pages on desktop and mobile.

• VERSION SYNC
Archive Player 1.1 now corresponds automatically with Private Access System Build 1.1.100.

Talking about Busyfingers is hard for me. I think since he passed, I carry this weight on my shoulders of doing what in my mind is keeping the culture and community together and I know I'm not alone when I think about these things and it's no secret that I always try to move in a way that I think ultimately would make him proud but the hardest thing for me honestly, trying to move forward without him being here in the physical since... in all honesty, him minus my parents are the main people that I wish could see the growth I've had as a person and as a creative.

I remember him always wishing that the "Beat Meet" events was always in his mind intended to be UK equivalent of what the LA "Low End Theory" events were. At the time, i understood this as being a event that producers of all levels could come and showcase their work and be themselves but as i got older and wiser, i started to also understand that it was not about a building or a event but more so a community.

At times, I reflect and wonder if I would be who am without us meeting. I have friends I adore but I immediately found my tribe.

I have a secret. Every year, I write you a letter and I keep it to myself because im filled with a lot of feelings and it's the only healthy way I know how to put what I feel into context and as I work on being the most visible version of myself, its important for the roots to be tended to as much as what has bloomed. Our culture and community has grown so much and everyone is growing so much but in a era of history being rewritten, I can not allow what you have done to not be felt. And so, this is a weight I carry that is neither light or heavy but it is felt and carried with pride and joy.

I feel a lot all the time and I don't know how not to but today, I'm gonna be celebrating with loved ones. Your loved ones. The mission has not changed. I am still aiming to be the best but not just because you told me I could, but because i also believe in myself too.

Ill guess I'll leave this here by saying. Thank you for everything. And you were right. No point in being a "Yes man". My life became better knowing you.

It will always be 42 forever and Oddboys forever.

WHOKMY - Eidophusikon_Murkl

Track of my new LP "FREE.GME VOL.1" releasing tonight on bandcamp.

There's a lot to say about this project but I will start by saying that this is in my opinion my best work I have ever made. I am always striving to make a complete body of work that I think encompasses two things, Who i am at this current time and what i truly love.

If I was to leave this planet and there was a relic I could leave behind that tells people i existed and who I am, it would likely be this. I hope you all really enjoy it as there's a lot of surprises here.

Its my birthday but I'm awake doing a lot of final edits and fixes to get it as perfect as I can before it drops but I'm stoked for you all to here this. I wanna see videos, i wanna see reactions, i pray that you all take this is in as this is my contribution to my loves at heart.

Thank you for again being a part of my creative journey, its been roughly about 3 years since I have released something and I have changed a lot as a person too. Please have a great one and I will be about!

Been battling a bug but I'm 70/80% back to normal which is a relief. Don't have any major news but simpson memes always lift my mood. Decided it's time to be more active on here even when I'm not posting anything wild.

Unreleased: B009 - ChurchBRK DDE

Surprise! Not everything I post in this format will be older tracks. This was made literally 2 days ago. I have been on a huge Jungle and Drum & Bass binge this year and I came across a set with D Double E which then led me to find another track over high BPM which gave me the jokes idea of dropping something with it being the focus.

Real Marvel What If? With this one. 2 days later got to play it yesterday which was dope especially since there's a few song that we're real tests of seeing how people vibe. Again special thanks to @dustyohms & @loopsessionsldn for having me and it was good giving with some talented beat heads.
