Join the Wicklow Wolf Running Club this coming Friday the 16th of October, for a fun and social run around Vartry Reservoir. The route will be an 8.5km loop with some cold refreshing cans of Wicklow Wolf 0.5 awaiting you at the end.

If you’re thinking of joining us but aren’t currently a member of the club, please drop us a message to let us know you’ll be attending and for the meeting time and location. As the evenings get darker, please remember to bring a fully charged phone and a head torch.

We look forward to seeing everyone for another great evening run with the Wicklow Wolf Running Club!

ECO TRAIL WICKLOW 2026

What a day, what a race and what a community. We are proud sponsors of @ecotrailwicklow, a partnership that goes back to the first race and it just keeps getting better every year. It was a privilege to watch everyone cross the finish line with big smiles after a hard run and to share some of our Wicklow Wolf 0.5 beer with them. A massive congrats to all the finishers, including our co-founder Simon and his Daughter Adah, taproom team member Melanie and all the Wicklow Wolf Running Club members who braved the incredible Wicklow terrain and finished strong.

A massive thanks to everyone at Eco Trail Wicklow, all the volunteers and marshals. It was great to see our friends @dynafit, @outwestclothing.ie and @altarfuel there too, supporting, running and fuelling everyone for the day.

We will see you all at the finish line again next year. Cheers.

This month we're celebrating our 12th birthday. Sometimes we forget to take a breath and look back at how far we have come. From a pilot kit in an old bakery in Bray to our new purpose built brewery in Newtownmountkennedy, we have brewed over 160 beers over the last twelve years and here is to many more.

Last night as part of our partnership with @pureproj and @ecotrailwicklow and our commitment to keeping the trails clean, the Wicklow Wolf Running Club took on a cleanup of Ballyremon Commons - a section of this year’s Wicklow EcoTrail route.

A massive thank you to our club members and staff who showed up to keep the trails in our home county as clean and as rubbish free as they should be.

Last night, Wicklow Wolf Running Club met up in Bray for our final recce run ahead of this year’s @ecotrailwicklow. As our original home, Bray holds a very special place in our hearts, so this was the perfect location to wrap up our EcoTrail Wicklow recce series.

Our runners headed out onto the trails, taking in the views from Bray Head before making their way towards Greystones and back again. And, of course, no Wicklow Wolf run is complete without a well-earned Wicklow Wolf 0.5 afterwards.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and made the recce series so special. Bring on EcoTrail Wicklow next weekend!

HOP HARVEST 2026

In the true spirit of our Locavore hop harvest, we are beholden to nothing but Mother Nature. With this in mind, the hops are ready to be harvested, hand picked and added fresh into this year's Locavore Hop Harvest beer.

We will be hand picking hops on Thursday 24th September in the Taproom from 10am - 2pm with all the hops being added straight into the brew at 2pm sharp.

If anyone is around to lend a hand picking the hops, there will be coffees and of course some beers for all our helpers again. Please send us a private message if you will be able to make it. We will also make sure to keep a can or 2 aside of the final beer for all those who played a hand in hop picking when it finally releases.

Our hop harvest day is always a great community day and we can't wait for this years harvest. See you all next week.

Introducing Endangered Species No. 70 – Pointy Shoes: 2026. First brewed in 2019 to mark our 5th birthday, this Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout has become our annual birthday tradition.

Aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels, Pointy Shoes 2026 is brewed to celebrate 12 years of Wicklow Wolf.

Releasing into the wild on Monday. Make sure to get your hands on this one asap as there are only 2,026 cans available.
