“Help as many people as you can.”

Those were some of Reese’s final words to his parents.

He also left a message for his baseball brothers: do what he couldn’t do and get help.

Corey and Kelly could have kept those words private. Instead, they created @widdys_work and made it their mission to keep sharing Reese’s message.

Not just because of the baseball player he was.

Because of the son, teammate, friend, student, and person he was to so many people.

There’s a lot of pain behind this story. But there’s also a message Reese clearly wanted people to hear:

If you’re struggling, please tell someone. Get help. You don’t have to carry it alone.
