It's a wrap! What a coup to have Jasper Carrott in Cowes, offer over fifty children the opportunity to perform on stage, and to be the climax of the historic North Sails Cowes Week; celebrating 200 years.

A big thank-you to all of you who came to support us, and for helping to spread the word. What were your highlights?

We are now working hard behind the scenes to work out plans for next year. Should we be part of Cowes Week again, or find a different window in the calendar? Please comment below. taken in Cowes, Isle Of Wight, United Kingdom by @wightproms

North Sails Cowes Week is NOT over yet!

We have just one concert left as part of this year's Wight Proms Festival, which also marks the end of the 200th anniversary of Cowes Week. Join us TOMORROW (Sunday 9th August) in honour of this historic occasion!

A selection of orchestral favourites, alongside songs ranging from classical to crooner and musical theatre, plus Mike Christie's own compositions 'Walk the Wight With You' (the official song of @mountbatten_iw Walk the Wight), and 'The Voice of Nature', which he wrote to honour Sir David Attenborough on his 100th birthday this year.

There really is nothing quite like a live orchestra!
