Just a week ago…

We can’t believe that this time last week Wild was done & we were already sipping wines & dancing at the after parties!

Thanks to those that poured, drank, ate, chatted, tasted & partied last weekend!

It’s all over now…
Glasses emptied, bottles recycled, tables cleaned.

A huge thanks for the hundreds of you who joined the wild fun!

After a year off it felt even more special!!

We are so pleased to have had everyone in one room again…

The lovely Sam from @titchhillwines will be back at Wild again tomorrow! He is doing a talk at 4pm too! One not to be missed.

He will be pouring some of his new wines, chatting all things English winemaking & showcasing the delicious things you can make with hybrid & piwi grape varieties.

Karol from @nizio_naturals will be at Wild pouring his wines along with his UK importer @spry_wines

A first for us to have a Polish winemaker present & we are very excited.

Karol will be hosting a talk at 12pm in The Shed too.

The title of his talk is “Vineyard and animals as one organism” 🌱🍇🐑♾️

Being a passionate winemaker & cheese maker, as well as looking after the farm’s sheep, chickens & other livestock, Karol returns all byproduct back into the vineyard & vegetable garden in creative, forward thinking ways.

Spots in the talk are free, sign up on the day or send us a DM. If you have a general public ticket you can still enter the fair & get involved in the talks.

There will be a lot of bottles open on Sunday…

They have all arrived at Timberyard now so all is definitely going ahead!

If you have a trade ticket you can enter from 10am.

Wild is open to the public from 1pm.

We will stop pouring at 5pm.

We are humbled to have so many winemakers join us on Sunday at Wild.
It’s a special thing to chat & taste with the hands that made the liquid.
It’s a hard time of year to be pulling them away from the vineyards.

19 wine importers & 7 winemakers will make a great day!

Our dear friends from @modalwines will have a huge selection of wines open for tasting, including wines made by Angelo from @yoelreywines in South Africa.

Angelo will also be hosting a talk in The Shed at 1pm.

‘Redefining Value’

Touching on the wine crisis that is affecting a lot of small producers globally, particularly those who choose to farm better and with more intention, and then weaving that into the viticulture landscape in South Africa and how Modal is looking to support those small farmers via the creation of the Nuvo Nivo label.

Wild After Party! 🥳🍷

We’re thrilled to be hosting one of two official @wild_wine_fair after parties this Sunday, 26th July!

After a day at the fair, head over to @spry_wines where we’ll be welcoming winemakers, importers, and wine lovers alike for an evening of food, drinks, and conversation.

We’ll be open from 4pm–11pm, with our full food menu available until 9:30pm. Expect a special Wild Card wine list featuring rare bottles from the cellar, alongside an exciting by-the-glass selection you won’t want to miss! 🦄

No Wild ticket? No problem. Book a table via the link in our bio, or take your chances and walk in on the night. 🤞

A huge thank you to Jo & India for bringing Wild back to Scotland and inviting us to be part of it. We’ve wanted to get involved ever since attending our first fair back in 2019, so it’s a real privilege to be hosting this year.

Edinburgh’s inaugural natural wine fair @wild_wine_fair will return to @timberyard10 for its seventh year on Sunday 26th July.

Launched by India Parry-Williams @alovelycupoftea & Jo Radford (Co-Owner and Head Sommelier at @timberyard10 ) in 2017, the event brings together some of the UK’s most prolific importers of biodynamic and natural wines, including @beattieandroberts, @modalwines , @otrosvinos , @raeburnfinewines , @sagerandwine and @tuttowines.

Each supplier will have their own tasting station set up in Timberyard restaurant, with various spokespeople also offering informal talks and discussions in the Timberyard PDR, covering topics like: climate change, the rise of non-alcoholic options and the new wave of English winemaking.

On the food side, Timberyard’s close friends from @highergroundmcr will pop up for the day and Chef @josephotway will be cooking the freshest procure from their farm, @cinderwoodmarketgarden .

Trade and guests can purchase tickets (£6 and £25, respectively), which include access to the wine fair and a glass for tasting all of the wines.
