Bodies: The Science Within exhibit in Sacramento was enthralling! Perfect way for our anatomy class to bring their learning to life. Check it out while it’s in town!

Fall Festival was such fun night! Thank you to the families who made it and those who supported our raffle! Between bobbing for donuts, our pumpkin patch, TRUNK or treat and our costume parade… we had a blast!

Our annual farm hop in Apple Hill was a perfect way to celebrate (maybe) the last 90 degree day of the year! We picked apples @ohalloransappleranch , had a yummy lunch @drewbeanfarms, got treats, did the maze and the flower stroll @appleridgefarms and let the kids run wild @hiddenstar.applehill for the perfect mix! See you again next year!!

Our field trips are thoughtfully planned to align with our classes, peak deeper interest, experience something new or just a fun day with friends (this was one that was all of the above!) California Caverns was worth the drive and - ice reprieve from our October ninety degree weather!

This is what learning looks like. This is what building community looks like. This is what school looks like.

Just a small glimpse into our first week of classes.

creativity is not a talent.
it is not a skill you’re born with.
it is a way of operating.
an ability to play.
to play is experiment.
to ask: what happens if I do this?
what would happen if we did that?
what if?

This is Wild Roots. Where curiosity leads, and kids get to find out. 🌿

A “normal day” looks different here. Nature is the classroom, curiosity is the curriculum, and kids leave more capable than when they arrived. If you’re looking for a TK–12 learning environment that trades desks for dirt and worksheets for wonder, we’re now enrolling for the year ahead. Classes start September 14th — link in bio to learn more or enroll.

Back to school doesn’t have to mean back inside.

At Wild Roots, learning happens under open sky — not under fluorescent lights.

If you’ve been searching for an alternative to the traditional classroom, this is it.

Now enrolling. Classes start September 14th.

Spots are limited — enroll today.
