A bit of a proud moment today! 📦🤍 Today I’m out delivering the very first Hairbulb® products to four Rainbow Room International salons across Glasgow. Academy, Crow Road, Bearsden and Buchanan Street are all getting their first deliveries of Balance 45+. It’s quite a strange but lovely feeling seeing something that started as an idea finally becoming a real product, sitting on salon shelves and available for people to buy. After nearly 10 years working as a clinical trichologist, I’ve had thousands of conversations with people about their hair. One thing I’ve always felt is that we could do more to help people understand their hair health and the role that good nutrition can play in supporting it. And that’s really where Hairbulb began. There’s been a huge amount of work behind the scenes, from developing the formulation and creating the brand to building the website, sorting packaging and all the little things you don’t think about until you actually start a new business! 😂 Nicola and I have put a lot into getting Hairbulb off the ground, so today feels like a pretty big milestone for us both. We’ve now officially launched online too, and seeing the first stock heading into salons makes it all feel very real. A massive thank you to everyone who’s helped us get this far, and to the Rainbow Room teams for getting behind us from the start. Still plenty to learn, lots of work ahead and hopefully some exciting things to come. But for today, I’m just going to enjoy this little moment. 😊 Hairbulb® is officially on its way! www.hairbulb.com 🤍 by @wilfleeson
🏆 A massive proud moment I wanted to share! 🩵 I’m absolutely thrilled that Trichology Scotland has once again been recognised at the SME News Business Elite Awards, winning Best Hair & Scalp Health Clinic 2026 Scotland! Yesssss… That’s now four years in a row that we’ve received awards recognising the work we do, and two consecutive years winning this particular award. 😊 I don’t often stop to look back at how far things have come, but moments like this really make you appreciate the journey. It’s hard to believe that next year will mark 10 years since I started Trichology Scotland! What started with a passion for helping people understand their hair and scalp health has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. Over those nine years, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of people, listening to their worries, finding answers and hopefully making a real difference to their confidence and wellbeing. And that’s always been the part of the job I’ve loved most. Hair loss can be incredibly personal, and being trusted to help someone through that journey is something I’ll never take for granted. Like any business, there have been plenty of challenges, long days, lessons learned and a few sleepless nights along the way! 😂 But there have also been so many lovely moments, wonderful people and reasons to be grateful. A huge thank you to my amazing wife @nicolafleeson and everyone who’s been part of the journey, the people I’ve worked with, the friends who’ve supported me, and of course every single client who’s put their trust in us. Four years of awards, nine years of building something I love, and thousands of people we’ve had the opportunity to help. That’s something I’m genuinely very proud of. 🩵 And with our 10th anniversary coming up in 2027, I think we might just have to celebrate that one properly! 🥂🎉 Thank you to everyone who’s been part of it. Really looking forward to this one! 😊 I’ve been invited to speak at Respect LAB in Glasgow on Tuesday 3 November, chatting about all things trichology and, in particular, when it might be helpful to refer a client to a trichologist. As anyone who works in a salon knows, clients often open up about changes in their hair or scalp while they’re in the chair. Hairdressers don’t need to diagnose what’s going on, but knowing when to listen, offer reassurance and point someone towards the right support can make a real difference. It’ll be lovely to meet people from across the hair industry, share a little of what I’ve learned over the years and be part of the conversation. Thanks so much to Respect for inviting me — see you in Glasgow! 🤍 📍 Maison by Glaschu, Princes Square 🗓 Tuesday 3 November | Doors at 6.30pm, speakers at 7pm 💌 DM @respectforhair if you’d like to come along. by @wilfleeson

I’ll be speaking at the Professional Beauty Growth Summit in Glasgow on April 27th. This one means a lot to me& my wife as salon owners: because it’s not just about business, it’s about people. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of building a salon team where some individuals have stayed for over 30 years. That doesn’t happen by chance. I’ll be sharing what’s really gone into that: – The planning behind the culture – The structure that supports growth – The importance of inclusion and belonging – And why retention is everything: for both team and clients For us, success has never just been about numbers. It’s about creating an environment people are proud to be part of. If you’re a salon owner trying to build something meaningful and lasting, I hope this session gives you something valuable to take away. #SalonLife #Leadership #HairdressingUK #TeamCulture #SalonOwnerLife by @wilfleeson
