Nov. 2025 — my brother and I spread my dad’s ashes at Hug Point on the Oregon Coast, where he wanted his final resting place to be.

Last slide is him showing me the spot in Dec. 2016

Rest easy, Dad. See you on the coast. ♾️ by @will___hayes

———-

SCOTT LI is a violinist, composer, producer, improviser, filmmaker, and electroacoustic sound artist blending the Romantic chamber music tradition with emotive experimental electronic music. Li’s compositions fuse modular synthesis, live processing, fixed media electronics, film, and poetry with elements of classical chamber music to “create a simultaneous understanding of The Beautiful and The Sublime, while exhibiting unparalleled emotional induction.” (The Crossfader, 2019) Half of WARP DUO with Levi Lu, Li is an explorer of haunting and ethereal sounds of wildly different styles, collaborating with a diverse group of musicians, filmmakers, visual artists, writers, and dancers.

KIRIN MCELWAIN is a cellist and composer working in the realms of experimental, contemporary classical, and improvised music. Weaving together classical and Baroque influences with an affinity for sub-bass and harsh electronic textures, her music explores themes of desire, shame, perfection, and belonging.

WILL HAYES is a guitarist, composer, and improviser whose solo work offers a uniquely estranged interpretation of American music: baritone guitar tone-poems and distorted landscapes, haunted by MIDI-triggered electronics and sound design. taken in Sleepwalk by @will___hayes
