Detroit Tigers? LSU Tigers? 🐅
Looks like Will Adams was destined to be a Tiger either way!

Huge congratulations to Will on an incredible opportunity. Detroit got an absolute steal, and we can’t wait to watch what’s next. Go make some noise! 👏⚾️

Will Adams is drafted by the Detroit Tigers 🐯

Adams has a solid offensive approach and understands the strike zone. He has a low-maintenance swing that doesn’t have many moving pieces, and consistently gets the barrel into the hitting zone with good timing. In particular, Adams has shown an ability to time up and hammer fastballs, and his bat speed and contact ability should allow him to handle pro-level velocity. by @willadams8_

What a year for @willadams8_ ! @hooverbucbaseball athlete and @lsubaseball commit went off this year to wrap up his high school career!

He hit .489, 13 💣, 52 RBI, 4–0 on the mound with 55 K’s in 36.1 innings (holding opponents to a .179 avg 🤯)

Congrats Will! The best is yet to come! Pedal down!

It’s been real. I am honored to have had the privilege of representing this school for 4 years. This program has saved and changed my life. Wish I could have brought one home for the city but I have no regrets. Wouldn’t trade any of my teammates these past 4 years for the world. Love yall boys 4L 🤞🏽. 8out.
