A visit to SPANA where good and important work is being done to look after working animals all over Morocco. And then to the High Atlas. And at Agafay they convinced me to ride a camel, and I am grateful they did—beautiful animals about which I know very little. by @willgrantofthewest

And a brief stop in Paris to see the man himself, Jean-Louis Gouraud. He has edited 200+ books about horses, established an organization of Barb horses, and in 1990 traveled by horseback from Brest, France, to Moscow.
