A memento, forever in the @runnersworlduk archives, of a week well spent with @elseydavis on the Circuit of Cornwall. Never expected to have a cover. Super stoked on this. This photo was one of the first frames I took on Elsey’s epic FKT, in a spot I love, way out in West Penwith.

When a friend asked me if I would take newborn photos, my temptation to say no was quite strong. Not in my wheelhouse, I don’t typically like what I think of as ‘newborn photography’ and also, I don’t have the hundreds of props and backdrops that I imagine are usually brought out for set dressing. But I said yes, because I always say yes and then I told myself that they hadn’t asked a newborn photographer, they’d asked me.

A cute baby is a cute baby, regardless of a studio full of props and when you put some good glass & simple lighting in front of them it’s not that hard… or maybe this cute baby was just a natural.
