For women wanting to nourish, strengthen and find confidence in their bodies with a community of women who dare to go deeper
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
WillowFit is for women wanting to nourish, strengthen and find confidence in their bodies with a community of women who dare to go deeper

Because when we are nourished well, we aren’t tired and exhausted. We are energised, focused and clear.

When we have a strength foundation, we have consistency to our practice. Something that meets us where we’re at, that builds connection and helps us ride the rollercoaster of motherhood with resilience

When we try new challenges and build trust and awareness in our bodies, we find confidence in knowing what is right for us.

And when we do it with the support of likeminded women, we become a force to be reckoned with ❤️‍🔥

If you want to train with me, my next intake is 20th April. Send me a DM to learn more taken in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia by @willowfitness

Elise came to Willowfit unsure if strength training was for her.

“Long, gangly and weak!” she says, “and worried I'd have to have an awkward conversation when I wanted to quit!”

Like many professional women in their early 40s, Elise was exhausted and recovering from burnout after an intense period of work and an interstate move.

She was trying to exercise, but skipping meals and eating the kids’ leftovers.

So what helped her build consistency?

Three sessions in her calendar each week. A small group of four women. And training that adapted to what her body needed.

“The calendar invite takes the decision-making out of it. I just have to show up.”

Over time, those small, consistent actions added up.

When hip pain meant she couldn't comfortably walk up stairs, we modified her training and focused on building a strong foundation.

Now she's deadlifting 50kg and working towards deeper squats.

But the biggest change isn't the number on the bar.

It's the confidence she now has in what her body is capable of.

“I now have so much more confidence that my body is capable of healing.”

She's also learnt to fuel herself better, with a big impact on her energy at work.

And what does she love most about Willowfit?

“The sense of community.”

This is the goal: building strength, fuelling your body and learning to trust it.

Elise, you are an absolute joy to have in the studio. ❤️

Spring naturally brings more — more light, more movement, more socialising, more opportunities to get out and enjoy life.

But to enjoy more, we need to have the capacity for more.

This season at Willowfit, we're focusing on building that capacity — through our strength and aerobic fitness, how we nourish ourselves, and how well we understand and respond to what our bodies need.

Not simply doing more.

But building a body that has more available for the life we want to live.

I’m looking for 2 women to join the wonderful community at Willowfit who are keen to:

 - Strength train 2-3 times per week in a small group (2-4) environment in Mt Martha, with a coach who will meet you where you’re at
 - Have cardio programming and a fun, personalised challenge to help us all build our aerobic capacity outside the studio
 - Connect with a community of women via some fun, local events
 - Learn how to fuel their body for energy and strength, to build into the season ahead

If you’re keen to join us, send me a DM and I’ll send you more info ☀️ 💪🏻❤️‍🔥 taken in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia by @willowfitness

Nutrition has become way too complicated.

More protein.
Less carbs.
Eat less, train more.
But don’t under-fuel.

No wonder we’ve lost confidence in simply feeding ourselves.

So I created something to help you.

4 FREE Nutrition Foundations lessons
to help you understand your metabolism, build energy and feel more confident with food.

Our first Fire + Ice 🔥❄️

A morning of challenge, recovery and connection at beautiful Mills Beach.

We moved. We breathed. We sat in the heat. We stepped into 11-degree water. We used our mantras to stay with the discomfort.

And most importantly, we slowed down and connected with a wonderful group of women.

The goal wasn’t just to feel good for a morning. It was to experience how giving our bodies the right kind of stress — followed by recovery — can help us build capacity.

Thank you to every wonderful woman who joined Jess and me and made our first Fire + Ice so special.

And judging by the response… I don't think this will be our last. 🔥❄️

More to come. taken in Mills Beach, Mornington by @willowfitness

“I’m so glad we’ve found a place where we can talk about this. I couldn’t talk about this at all in my last gym.”

A woman said this in the studio recently, and it really lit me up.

We’d been talking about women’s health. Endometriosis. Hormones. Changes in our cycles. Symptoms we were noticing.

I’m not saying we had all the answers.

But we had created an environment where women could talk about it. Where they could be heard, share what they were experiencing and support each other.

And it made me realise that one of the things I’m most proud of building at Willowfit isn’t just the training.

It’s the community around it.

Because women’s bodies can be noisy.

Waking at 3am. Low energy at 3pm. Getting sick constantly. Changes to our menstrual cycles.

It can feel like our bodies are failing us.

But these symptoms can also be information. A body asking for some attention and support.

And while the internet is full of ways to “hack” your body or “fix your hormones”, I think we can start somewhere much simpler:

☀️ Get outside and see morning light
🥑 Fuel yourself well and consistently throughout the day
🏋🏼‍♀️ Strength train and build your aerobic capacity
😴 Prioritise 7–9 hours of sleep
❤️ Pay attention to your physical, emotional and cognitive load

And perhaps just as importantly — find people you can talk to.

Share what’s going on. Ask questions. Ask for help. Listen to other women’s experiences.

The women of Willowfit come to me to train their bodies. To lift weights, build muscle and become stronger.

But some of the most powerful work happens in the conversations around the training.

When one woman says, “This is happening to me.” And another says, “Me too.”

Because the strongest thing we’re building isn’t just muscle.

It’s a community where women feel supported, heard and understood.

And that's where the magic happens ❤️‍🔥 taken in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia by @willowfitness

Winter can be a tough season.

The cold. The wind. The rain. It's so much easier to stay inside than get outdoors, move your body and stay connected to nature.

But everything changes when you have a community of incredible women beside you.

This month, the wonderful Jess Orr from @corrpilates and I have teamed up to bring our communities together around something we both love deeply: the ocean, movement and sauna.

Jess and I first connected through our shared love of cold water, adventure and meaningful conversations. She has always inspired me with her willingness to jump into the ocean, no matter the conditions. Years ago she warmly invited me to join her South Beach Salty's swim group, and I haven't looked back.

Since then we've shared some amazing adventures together—from Fire & Ice at Peninsula Hot Springs to swimming at Tallebudgera Creek during her inaugural Swim Camp. Even though life is busy with kids, businesses and everything in between, we always make time to reconnect, laugh and embrace a little adventure.

Now we'd love to share that experience with you.

Sunday 23rd August | 10:30am | Mills Beach

Together with @stateofnirvana, we'll spend the morning:
• Warming up in the sauna
• Taking an invigorating ocean dip
• Moving our bodies
• Connecting with our breath
• Building confidence through shared experiences
• Meeting a wonderful community of women

Because winter doesn't have to be about retreating. Sometimes it's the season that reminds us how capable, resilient and connected we really are.

We'd absolutely love you to join us.

There are just 20 spots available. Send me a DM to book your place. taken in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia by @willowfitness

Winter is a season to build, not just get through.

But it can feel like all we want to do is roll over and hibernate. We’ll get to that training next season.

But what if we really leant into Winter. Leant into her slowness, her heaviness and depth?

What if we focused on what our bodies are craving, and train in a way that supports our physiology.

What if we prioritised slow cook meats, broths, and root vegetables to build energy.

What if we found connection with women to find deeper conversations about things that matter to us.

This Winter, we're building at Willowfit.

Building more muscle, to create a strong metabolism.

Building habits to last a lifetime

Building connections that mean more.

This term we're going to learn all about how to train, nourish, and recover in winter. How to simplify, how to really give her what she wants.

So we can enter Springtime with energy to thrive.

I have 2 spots available. Intake begins 13th July.

Steph began training with me nearly 18 months ago after trying many different types of exercise. Pilates hadn't given her the results she wanted and she'd never found anything she could stick to. She was feeling "pretty lost, overweight, unfit and not really that happy" in herself.

As women nearing 40, many of us have spent years focusing on careers and kids, leaving little time for ourselves.

Training 3 times per week felt like a big commitment while working full time, but with support from her husband Lee and a solid routine, Steph found the confidence to prioritise herself. She knew something had to change.

Steph quickly found the community, small class sizes and personalised coaching helped her stay consistent. She loves "the laughs, the wins, the community, feeling strong, supportive women and seeing my body change."

Nutrition support was also a huge piece. "I now understand how to fuel my body without tracking daily - the foundations are everything."

One of my favourite parts of Steph's journey has been watching her trust her body again. "I have learnt to trust my body, listen to the cues and challenge myself." Signing up for and completing her first fun run was a massive goal.

Perhaps the biggest shift has been her mindset. "I started thinking I would do 8 weeks to get me going, then move to a big gym. I soon realised it's a long-term commitment if you want results that are meaningful."

Steph says she's "not done, and I've learned that I never will be" because she's found a training practice with Willowfit’s Group Coaching that grows with her goals.

That's what I aim to create for every woman I coach: trust in her body, confidence around nutrition and lasting results.

Steph - it's been an absolute honour to watch you grow. I can't wait to see where your practice takes you next.

If you'd like to join Steph and the other legend ladies in the studio next term, send me a DM. I have 2 spots available in our next intake beginning 13 July ❤️‍🔥 taken in Mount Martha, Victoria, Australia by @willowfitness
