My time as a track athlete at Indiana State has come to an end. I’ve struggled for over two weeks to make this post, how can I summarize the past four years of my life in just one post?

I came to ISU with high goals and few options. In short, I just needed a chance. ISU took that chance, and after a career full of accomplishments and experiences beyond what I ever could have imagined, I am so thankful. I would not be where I am or who I am without Indiana State. I am forever a Sycamore.

As I watched the bar fall one last time and I knew that my career at ISU had ended, I felt a wave of emotions. But as I sat down to take off my uniform one final time, I could not feel anything but gratitude. Grateful for experiences, relationships, and the opportunity to do what I love for the last four years. To anyone and everyone who has made these past four years my favorite chapter of my life thus far, a sincere and genuine thank you.

Battled to the very end.

Excited for what is next, the best is yet to come🙂 by @willstaggs_
