From the get go, I’ve never really done just one thing.

Most days I’m pitching reporters and telling stories.
Some days I’m writing and delivering wedding ceremonies.
Some nights I’m building strategy decks for clients after the boys are asleep.

Every day, I’m Andy’s wife.
Mansoor and Parvin’s daughter.
Arezou’s sister.
A friend who does her best to show up.
And most important of all, a mama to Cy and Rumi.

“Mom with a lot of jobs” started as a funny ChatGPT moment — sparked by Cyrus saying,
“Mommy, you sure do have a lot of jobs!”

It stuck because… he’s right.

🎙️✨ As the @iscc_charity (The International Society for Children with Cancer) continues to honor its 20th anniversary, I am deeply honored to work with an incredible team (our Dream Team!) to raise awareness about the unwavering work of the organization to support children with cancer in Iran and around the world.

In May, we launched The Compassionate Corner Podcast (https://iscc-charity.org/the-compassionate-corner-podcast/), which has become an incredible space to have conversations about hope, cancer, and resilience. The stories of survivors, oncologists, and those whose lives have been touched by cancer provide so many lessons about how we can choose to live and love each and every day.

I’m grateful for the trust placed in me to be the voice of this mission, and I'm so grateful and inspired by the amazing team whose dedication, creativity, and hard work have been instrumental in bringing each episode to life.

Each episode, I am moved (often to tears!) by the strength and courage of our guests who have faced unimaginable challenges with grace and perseverance. We've also explored having conversations with guests in Persian which has been beyond powerful.
