Paul writes to the people of Philippi about going or staying, but to be a help to others, he chooses to stay.
It’s for the benefit of those who are around. The same is true for us; we ought to stay for the furtherance and joy of our faith. There is so much more to look forward to regardless of what it makes look like right now. So keep running the race with contentment, and know that it’s better to keep faith and have joy in it than to depart!

Philippians 1:23-25
“For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;”

Paul tells us to be content, meaning to stay steady in any situation. Don’t worry but be abounding and suffering at the same time because we serve a God who cares us to get us through it, and not only that but who can and will make a way!

Philippians 4:11-13
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Man. Been eager for this opportunity for a while now and I’m thankful to have been able to fully be baptized in the Holy Spirit as an adult. I gave my life to Christ 3.31.2024 and I’ve been signed, sealed and sanctified ever since. This redemption story is one for the books, truly, I tell you. My life has taken a complete 180 from where I was prior to March of 2024, and it’s all by Gods grace and His mercy that kept me. He saw someone like me and said I can use him and ever since nothing has been the same. Today was a true profession of faith of being cleansed of my sins and walking in the redemption that has kept me! Glory be to God, for HE IS GOOD, for he is the same yesterday, today, and forever more!

Thank you Pastor K, you are a vessel the Lord has used to help me, and keep me steady in my walk.

To my Father in heaven, Isaiah said “I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” As he had heard so have I! Here am I, Father, use me and send me where I need to be so that I can continue to proclaim and spread the gospel as you have ordered and set forth my steps to do so. I am only but a vessel for your use until you call me home so allow me to do all that I can to fulfill your purpose and plan!

I STAND WITH GOD!
