Sweet Baby Panda was saved at the VERY last moment by his angels @love_my_spawn and @sailorrrsarah when he found himself about to be euthanized at SEACCA.

We think he’s about 4 weeks old and potentially an American Bulldog mix (we’re gonna get him DNA tested to make sure he lands in the right home).

Hims just a widdle chubby baby navigating a big scary world and he’s as perfect as he could be. Anyone who knows me knows *exactly* why I fell in love with him. He reminds me so much of my Deuce. The Good Boy Foundation will be sponsoring all of his good, healthy food until he finds his forever home.

If you’d like to help with Panda’s care, donations toward his vaccines, fecal testing, flea prevention, neuter, and everything else he’ll need as he grows are always appreciated. @istandwithmypack was very close to saying no because of so many unpaid medical bills, but thanks to a foster stepping up and transport coming together, they made room for one more life, and I’m so very grateful it was him.

Happy National Kitten Day! Since losing Deuce, he has sent me quite a few kittens to help. I love every single one of them, and I know he would have, too. Biscuits (now Billie), Sashimi, Oreo (now Pip), Daisy (now Clover), HP (now Hewy), Oreo (now Tokio), Mowgli, Marie, Paloma, Flan (now Storm), Chalupa (now Blossom), Horchata and Taquito - thank you for letting me love you, and loving me in return. And I couldn’t celebrate National Kitten Day without thanking the people who helped me, support, fostered, helped fundraise and adopted these angels - @lizasoberano, @del.gato.rescue, @therealdpad , @butseriously, @nadene_mcintyre_ , @sandraparrinelli , @presleynardella, @kimitsunami & @_byanymeans84 . 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

My beautiful little family is ready for adoption any day now! They’re so beautiful, a little silly, getting bigger and smarter every day. They all deserve the most loving homes. The amazing @del.gato.rescue is accepting applications for them now. Kittens can go in pairs (one cream one black) or by themselves to a home with another kitten/cat and Mama Paloma can go into a home on her own or with other cats.

💜 Happy National Best Friends Day 💜

Some best friends walk into our lives and change everything. For me, that was Deuce. He is the reason the Good Boy Foundation exists, and the reason we believe every person deserves a best friend like him.

Right now there are dogs and cats waiting in shelters and foster homes for someone to look at them the way you look at your best friend. They are ready and waiting - they just need a chance.

Went back home this weekend to see my pawpaw and inject a little swamp into my veins to help with my grief and depression. Just to start my weekend off on a good note, I got laid off from job. Not just that, it was 2 weeks after I got a giant raise (and was continuously told how valuable, appreciated and vital I was) that I was still celebrating bc it was a new milestone in my career in the EV industry. NOT JUST THAT, I had just taken on 18 more construction projects AND they KNEW I was flying up to Sacramento that morning for a job and instead of telling me to cancel my trip or “postpone it”, they let me fly there (knowing good and damn well it’s hard for me to fly with my back recovery) and THEN had the 3 minute call to tell me I was valued and appreciated, but laid off due to “restructuring”. NOT ONLY THAT, but then not a few hours later they posted their “biggest revenue” celebration post on LinkedIn. Didn’t make me feel very valued. 🧐

Anywho, I got my bayou time. I got my swamp critters time. I got my seafood and time with family (after having a sort of seemingly productive conversation about their support of MAGA). Back in Los Angeles and looking for a new job. Not great to be jobless in the most expensive time to exist in history. 🫩

Apparently today is National Per Day, which is wonderful. But I don’t like the word “pet”, never have - never will. To me, Deuce & Dixon were my kids, my babies, my best friends. My heart and soul. Their friends (who made Deuce’s life so full of joy) and the animals that have been a big part of my life are my friends. So here’s to all my animal friends who have brought me joy, helped me survive my grief (I’m looking at you, kittens) and made me feel so very loved. I love y’all so much.
