$538.60 raised for the @raspinsbeachslsc 🙌🏼

Over the past two years, we’ve donated the profits of our egg and spoon racing national championships to the Raspins Beach Surf Life Saving Club. This has allowed them to purchase their first ever club t-shirts!!

We’re so stoked to see Laura from the club assisting with water safety on the kayak leg this year, and later leading her club team to victory in the teams category of the egg and spoon race! Thanks for being a part of it, Laura, Chloe, Harry and Dylan!

A conversation we had 2 years ago with the team at @devonportsurflifesaving also led to the recent handover of a refurbished surf life saving trailer from Devonport to Orford. Something our local club in Orford has been seeking for years. We’re so stoked to see the generosity amongst clubs here, and we’re thrilled to help facilitate this inter-club donation.

What a cracker of a day!!

A huge thank you to everyone who made this year’s Winter Challenge such a good one. Every competitor gave it a proper crack and you’ve all been fantastic. Pretty special seeing so many big smiles out there!

Instead of participant medals, we have something way more special for you this year!!

In collaboration with Backyard Biobanking, an initiative of @gondytasmania, every finisher will receive a native Tasmanian tree sapling to plant at home as a reminder of your achievement and to help protect ancient Tassie natives from the dangers of climate change.
