Let it be known that @cindy_roberts_ward has been at Winter Street since the beginning! She was recruited by @sandiseltzer to join the building more than 20 years ago. The very location where @sawyeryards got its start. Never changing spaces, she has been painting in Studio A140 ever since. Her work is beautiful and style is stunning. Another pearl in Winter Oyster 🦪.

HEART OF HOUSTON is a juried exhibition at Winter Street Studios featuring works in all media by more than 60 artists from across the Greater Houston Area. Organized by Winter Street artist Marie Casamayor-Harvey and juried by Tanja Peterson of Redbud Gallery, the exhibition explores Houston as place, memory, community, landscape, and idea. Through painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and installation, artists reflect on the neighborhoods, traditions, experiences, resilience, and continual transformation that shape the city, creating a collective portrait of Houston through the perspectives of those who call it home.

On view through October 31. Join the artists for a reception on Thursday, September 10 from 5-8pm.
