Same roots. Bigger dreams. 🖤

We’ve got some new faces around here, so we figured it was time to reintroduce ourselves!

We’re the Witbecks — Slade, Kati, Tessa, and Breck. ❤️

For us, horses have always been more than a business. They’re part of who we are, how we spend our days, and the life we’re raising our kids in.

Over the years, Slade and I have poured a whole lot of hard work, heart, and determination into building what we have today. Like anything worth building, it hasn’t always been easy. There have been lessons learned, challenges along the way, incredible memories, and plenty of reasons to keep chasing the dream.

And somewhere along the way, that dream started growing into something bigger.

That’s why we decided to make a little change.

Witbeck Performance Horses is now Witbeck Horse Co.

We wanted a name that felt more like us. Something unique, something that represented our family as a whole, and something that could grow with us.

Performance horses will always be a huge part of what we do. We love raising, training, and competing on good horses. But we also love the ranch work, the adventures, the friendships, and all those little moments in between.

More than anything, we’re building something we hope Tessa and Breck can someday make their own, in whatever direction life takes them.

Maybe they’ll follow in our footsteps. Maybe they’ll create a path we never imagined. Either way, we hope we’re giving them a foundation to build their own dreams on.

Because at the end of the day, it’s never been just about the horses. It’s about the life we’re building together.

Same family. Same passion. A whole lot of dreams still ahead.

Whether you’ve been following us for years or just found us because of a certain little donkey 😂🫏, we’re so glad you’re here!

Welcome to Witbeck Horse Co. 🖤

Raised with purpose. Proven in performance.

We’ve been keeping a little something up our sleeve. 👀

He’s young. He’s got personality. And let’s just say we’re pretty excited about what’s ahead.

You’ll be seeing more of this guy. 🖤

TACK TALK TUESDAY 🤠🐴

Some partnerships go a whole lot deeper than the saddle. They’re built on years of friendship, trust, hard work, and a shared love for the western way of life.

The history between Slade and McCall Saddlery goes all the way back to when he was just a kid. From the days of Brad McClellan to the years of working alongside Cal Cook, it’s a relationship that has grown right along with us.

For over five years, Cal and the McCall team have stood behind Slade, and that kind of loyalty means more than we can put into words.

This week, we had the opportunity to bring home another beautiful, custom-built McCall saddle. And while the craftsmanship speaks for itself, it’s the people, the history, and the pride behind every stitch that make it something special.

In an industry where the right equipment matters, having people you know and trust behind you makes all the difference.

To Cal and the entire McCall Saddlery team — THANK YOU. For your friendship, your continued support, your dedication to your craft, and for being part of our journey. We’re proud to ride your saddles and even prouder of the relationships behind them.

Here’s to honoring where we came from, supporting the people who helped us get here, and carrying those traditions into the next generation. ❤️

New saddle. Same cowboy. Just a little more sharp dressed. 😎🤠

We spent the day at McCall Saddlery picking up Slade’s newest custom saddle, but our connection with McCall Saddlery goes back a long way. We’re grateful for the years of friendship, support, and craftsmanship that have made this relationship so special.

We couldn’t be more thankful for the time they took to show our kids the process and let them watch every step along the way.

We are beyond grateful for the craftsmanship, the history, and the people who are willing to share their knowledge with the next generation. We feel so blessed to have McCall Saddlery right here in the Basin and to be able to experience something so special close to home. ❤️

Thank you for welcoming our family in and making this such a memorable experience. We’re saving the good stuff for tomorrow’s Tack Talk Tuesday! Stay tuned. 👀🔥

A little life lately. 🤎

Feeling grateful for the life we’re building, the family beside us, the horses that keep us grounded, and the moments that make it all worthwhile.

There’s something special about looking up at a big moon and realizing how much beauty surrounds us. Seasons change, chapters turn, and the best is still ahead.

Here’s to showing up, holding on to what matters, and making the most of this beautiful life. 🌙✨

Some days we practice on steers… other days Winston decides to humble the whole family. 😂🐴

Fast feet, questionable cooperation, and a whole lot of laughs. Never a dull moment around here!

Winston: 1. Everybody else: just trying to keep up. 🤣

Behind the laughs, we’re a family-owned performance horse training and breeding operation. From ranch work to the roping arena, we’re raising and training horses with purpose, and enjoying every minute along the way!

🤠 Follow @witbeckperformancehorses for more rope horse training, ranch life, and all the chaos that comes with it!

Some days, the middle of nowhere is exactly where you need to be. 🤎

Today was one of those days. Miles from the noise, surrounded by mountains, good horses, great people, and the kind of company that makes you appreciate the life you get to live.

A full day of riding, working cattle, sharing laughs, and making memories with our family. Couldn’t have asked for better help or better people to spend it with.

There’s something pretty special about the places these horses take us and the people we get to share them with.

Days like today are a reminder of just how blessed we really are. 🐴🤎

You never truly know what someone else is carrying behind the scenes. 🤍

So be kind. Give a little more grace. Laugh when you can. Love your people hard. And put some good back into the world whenever you get the chance.

Here’s to lighter days, good horses, happy kids, and hoping the very best for the people around us.

I hope you’re happy. I hope you’re good. 🤍
