I question a lot of my hairstyles and fashion choices over the years 😂, but one decision I’ve never questioned is marrying Brian. 🤍

Our life is far from perfect, but I’ve learned that marriage isn’t about getting everything right. It’s about choosing each other, growing together, and continuing to build a life you’re both proud of.

I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us this year.

This recipe is always in our dinner rotation. You can make it on the weekend and refrigerate it until you’re ready to bake it for dinner on a busy weeknight. I also make this any time I sign up for a Mealtrain. Everyone always asks for the recipe because it’s that good. 🙌 The full recipe is below. ⬇️

Hamburger Cheese Bake
1 lb ground beef
1/2 C chopped onion
2 8oz cans tomato sauce
1 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 C egg noodles
1 C cottage cheese
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 C sour cream
Shredded Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese

Brown meat and onion. Stir in tomato sauce and seasonings. Cook noodles. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Spread 1/2 the noodles in 9x13 (spray it first). Top with a little meat mixture. Cover with cheese mixture. Add remaining noodles, then meat sauce. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 uncovered for 30 minutes. If you refrigerate before baking, add about 10-15 minutes of baking time. Enjoy! ❤️

So much of this decor has been a part of our home every Fall for years. I definitely don’t love every single piece, but each one has a story. Some were gifts, others have sentimental value, and some just bring back memories every time I pull them out.

My kids love seeing their familiar favorites come back year after year. There’s something special about the excitement of unpacking the same decorations every Fall.

Free nights are hard to come by, and when we finally have one, the last thing I want to do is coordinate a babysitter, spend time getting ready, or stay out late. Sleep is so important for overall wellness, so I try to avoid late nights when possible.

A simple morning date is so much fun! It doesn’t take much planning, and we both walk away feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.
