This has been on my mind for a long time, and it was finally time to make it happen. Welcome to the new era of With Brooke Scott. ✨ I’ve always done my own branding. Over the last six years I’ve outsourced for logos, but I had never fully handed off a complete rebrand, even though I’ve wanted to the entire time I’ve been in business. So much has changed in my business over the years, and I stopped connecting with my brand because of the growth I’ve had. I wanted it to feel consistent and cohesive, and I wanted it to connect to who I am and what I love, with more of my personality in one place. I’ve also avoided using my name for a long time, and I think that’s a big part of what kept me feeling stuck. I related to what my brand was in the past, but I didn’t want to stay behind a label. I wanted to just be me. That’s where Jess and Rach from @wearestudiomorii came in, and they absolutely killed it. They took everything that was in my head and brought it to life in a way I haven’t been able to on my own. It feels like me, and for the first time in this business, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. Of course I love a good fantasy book, and that might be the first thing you think of when you see the new icons. It goes a lot deeper than that. Each one connects to something intentional, like the work I do, the way I support my clients and the things I genuinely value. What I do and who I work with isn’t changing. You’re still getting the same support you’ve wanted, and now I’m bringing more of myself to everything. There’s a bit more magic in the brand, and the foundation behind it is the same. You will never get me to close these tabs on my computer. 👇 Loom, real screen shares instead of long threads or unnecessary calls. Slack, quick check-ins and updates, not where the actual work happens. Google Drive, home base for the work itself. Organized means fast, disorganized means chaos. ClickUp and Asana, task management depending on the client. If it’s not tracked, it’s not happening. Keep the conversation in the task comments and you never have to leave the platform to get an answer. Clockify, time tracked by task so I know exactly where my hours go and where I need to pull back. Three of these are communication tools. The other three are where the work actually lives. Mixing that up is how days get eaten by Slack instead of moved forward. Use each one for what it’s for. Next month marks 6 years in this business, and I’ve been thinking about that first year a lot lately. I didn’t know then what I know now, and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t. Every client I’ve worked with has taught me something I couldn’t have learned any other way. Some lessons came easy. Some took a while to sit with. Either way, I’ve grown into someone I actually respect, and that matters more to me than almost anything else. What I love most is that the learning never stops. Every business is different, every problem has its own shape, and I get to keep sharpening how I think because of it. That’s the part people don’t always see from the outside, how much of this work is really about staying curious and staying humble enough to keep learning. Six years coming up, and I’m more grateful than ever to be trusted with the businesses I get to work inside of.
