I found a letter in my mailbox today.

It was from a little boy who loves my brownies. 🥹

And I know it sounds like a small thing... it's literally just a handwritten letter! but I sat there staring at it for a while.

Because when you're running a small business, you spend so much time thinking about orders, costs, packaging, content, replying to messages, baking, cleaning, packing, delivering…

Sometimes you forget that at the other end of all that is an actual person.

A person who was excited enough about something you made to sit down and write you a letter.

That means more to me than I think I can properly put into words.

So to the little boy who wrote this:

thank you. 🤎

You probably thought you were just telling me you like my brownies.

You actually reminded me why I enjoy making them.

sometimes I think the hardest part of owning a small business is how personal it is.

because behind every order isn’t just a number on a screen. it’s a person who could’ve spent their money anywhere, but chose to spend it on something I made.

and honestly… that never stops being a little crazy to me.

there are days when I question if I’m doing enough, if people still care, if this little business of mine is going anywhere.

then an order comes in.

and for a tiny moment, I remember — someone out there saw what I made and thought, “yeah, I want that.” and I break out into a happy dance!

that means more to me than I probably know how to put into words.

so if you’ve ever ordered, reordered, recommended us, shared our posts, or even just stopped to look at what we make…

thank you. really. 🤎

this time we got to try both 🤎

the original sea salt brownie is rich and fudgy with that little salty hit on top, while the mochi one has that chewy centre i already love.

we shared all four and somehow the box was empty before i knew it 😂
