In this Laurel Canyon project, we used low-slung silhouettes and bold, sculptural forms that frame the landscape instead of blocking it. Rich textures, artisanal details, and vintage pieces came together to form a space that feels both highly elevated and effortlessly lived-in.

Don’t mistake The Village Green for just another condo community.

In reality, it was designed around a much bigger idea: the Garden City Movement.

Developed in the early 20th century, the Garden City Movement was a response to crowded urban living. The goal was simple but radical—create neighborhoods where people could enjoy the benefits of city life while being surrounded by nature, open space, and a strong sense of community.

The broader Garden City movement never transformed American development the way its founders hoped, but that vision is still alive here.

Instead of buildings competing for every square foot, homes are arranged around expansive green spaces, mature trees, walking paths, and shared gardens. It’s a neighborhood designed for people, not cars.

More than 80 years later, Village Green remains one of the best examples of this planning philosophy in Los Angeles. And while the architecture is beautiful, what people tend to fall in love with is the lifestyle: morning walks through the grounds, neighbors who know each other, birdsong instead of traffic, and a pace of life that feels surprisingly rare in LA.

Fun fact: This is where my wife and I bought our very first home in Los Angeles.

Congratulations to our sellers on this next chapter, and welcome to the new owners of this special home. 🌿

Fin!
📍Larchmont Village

I’m so inspired by and excited for my friends and clients who decided to start a new chapter in their lives. I feel honored to be asked to help guide them in selling their home of many years.

I say “guide” because that’s exactly what I structured my business to be—collaborative. And may I say, we absolutely killed this one ⚡️

Whenever I work with new clients the conversation doesn’t start with how many bedrooms and bathrooms they want, or the style of house they’re looking for.

The better question I start with is: what kind of life do you want to build?

What do your weekends look like? How do you plan to spend your time? What are your goals for your next chapter?

This tells me more than any specs about a house ever could.

In LA the possibilities are endless. The best part about my job is getting to help my clients build the life that makes the most sense for them, in the neighborhood that unlocks that potential. The pace, the people, the mood, the routines.

Before we talk about houses, I want to know all about where you’re headed.
