This past month has been one of the heavier times of my life. I’ve had to say goodbye to multiple friends — souls I loved, laughed with, created memories with, and held close to my heart. The weight of loss is real, but so is the light that comes through when we remember the love we shared.

Each of them touched my life in a unique and beautiful way. They reminded me of the fragility of time, the importance of presence, and the sacredness of human connection.

I’ve cried, I’ve prayed, I’ve sat in silence. But through all of it, I’ve felt them — in the wind, in the music, in the quiet moments when the world slows down. Energy doesn’t die. Love doesn’t disappear. Their spirits live on, not just in memory, but in the way I choose to live from here on out.

To anyone grieving — you’re not alone. May we hold our loved ones tighter, speak our truth more freely, and live more fully in their honor.

This is for the ones who are no longer here in body but forever present in spirit. I love you. I carry you with me. Being out here in Santa Fe, New Mexico really brought me back to my roots. I’ve lost a part of myself. My brother, Ricky Cassidy, you were more than a friend—you were family. An amazing father, son, husband, and friend, always showing up in a heartbeat whenever I needed you. I wish we had more time together, more laughs, more memories.

Your passing has hit me harder than I can put into words. I always looked up to you, admired your strength, your heart, and that unforgettable laugh. I can still hear it now. I know you’re up there with Big Mama and your brother, watching over us, smiling down.

This year has taught me so much, and I’m incredibly grateful for my family and friends. Life is a continuous journey of growth and evolution. There are no mistakes, only lessons learned. Embrace every experience, both good and bad, for they shape who you are today. “The universe is always conspiring in your favor, even when it seems like it’s working against you.”

Perception is everything. You have the power to view any situation as positive or negative and choose your response. “What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.” Always strive to see your cup as half full, not half empty. “The energy you put out into the world is the energy you receive back.”

🌴🌵This weekend has taught me a lot about perspective and who you surround yourself with. Very grateful for old friends and new. So grateful for the ups and downs in life, it molds us to be who we are. I just want to thank everybody who made this weekend so special.
