❤️ BIG NEWS!!! ❤️ Re-Introducing: Wlstories Book Club!! I’m THRILLED to announce the most requested item in the Wlstories community is officially back! AND: Everyone who wants one will get a FREE DIGITAL COPY “YOU are a BADASS”! This has been at the top of my list as I truly believe this group will prove to be a powerful force for love and support in our community!! While this will be a group effort we need leaders in the community to step up and want to make a difference in the lives of others. With the recent Social distancing, and so many of us being alone, home and looking for supportive activities this was high on my list of getting going again!! I’m thrilled that @goaliegirl_88 was willing to step up. She’s never done this before but knows people NEED help, and as a community it’s support group it’s takes all of us to pitch in and help others, even if we don’t know them personally. I’m so proud of Polly for stepping out of her comfort zone here!!! We’re going to start slow, but you can expect group readings, recommendations, eventually build up to special events; give-a-ways, author Q n A, special contests that will include authors and publishers. Wlstories Book Club will be a place where people can come together through books to gain friendship, and support while on their weight loss journey! ...Or want to be on a journey! NON SCALE VICTORY! Seeing how I went from a 52 in pants to a 42 now 40 is mind blowing!! A lot of times when you are on a journey towards a goal, you don’t realize the change until you stand back and see it for yourself or someone points it out to you. I am thankful that for this journey I not only transformed physically but mentally as well. Went from 445lbs in Jan to 330lbs now after the biggest loser show. The goal is not to be skinny, but healthy and to continue to love who I am from the inside out. 👉 @fitrichinfaith

Happy Birthday Ocho!!! Our lil boy turns TWO today. To celebrate our birthday EVERYONE WHO LIKES THIS POST WILL GET A FREE PUPPY OR KITTY!!* (*details at bottom of post.) It seems like only yesterday Wlstories8 The “Ocho” was just a crazy idea in the back of my head. I got tired of people saying “When I lose weight I can’t wait to be featured!” I’ll Feature you right now I’d tell them and people would decline!! People honestly don’t realize that if it’s 5lbs or 500lbs we all deserve to be celebrated!!! So I got to thinking....Why do we just celebrate weight loss? Shenanigans I declared!!! We celebrate everyone. Every win. Every pound. Every start if a new journey @wlbeginning) we celebrate love and the community of support (@wlstories) and were going to celebrate every freaking thing on this journey that makes us feel good. I don’t care if it’s all a participation trophy because the simple at of being on this journey IS WINNING!!! So let’s continue to kick ass, take names, be proud of that pair of pants u now can fit your entire body in one leg, or the fact you can go in that roller coaster, he’ll be proud of the body transformation too but remember it’s not the only thing that matters...EVERYONE matters and we show this by celebrating everything. BIG NSV! Before prioritizing my health, I could barely walk a mile without my knees flaring up from the extra weight on my body. Two years ago, I started by focusing on my unhealthy eating habits, eliminating tempting foods in my house & tracking my portions. I never thought those small steps & 5k runs would lead me to run an entire marathon at the happiest place on earth! I'm proud of this NSV because there were so many times during those 26 miles, my inner demons told me to just quit. But just like I've never quit on my health journey, I focused on the end result, taking it one step at a time. Those small steps all lead to me completing my 1st marathon!! That's one of my biggest accomplishments is finally be able to go back up the trails. I used to stay behind the pack due to me running out of breath and I hated having my group wait on me. During this hike, I was ahead of everyone and I got a compliment on how great I did at leading the hike 👉 @joelchristianlifts

Non scale victory! 2019 was the first time I’ve wore a two piece swimsuit in my life and wasn’t completely embarrassed about how my body looked! I worked hard to lose weight going from 226 to 180. I’ve struggled with my weight/body image all of my life and I’m finally taking control. 👉 @brittany_goes_healthy

My #nsv : I have more confidence in myself than I’ve ever had. It’s not because I’ve lost some weight or because I’m thinner or prettier; it’s because I set my mind to something and I accomplished it. I proved to myself that I was able to do something extremely difficult. So whenever I’m down on myself, I try to remind myself that I am capable of things now that I could have never dreamed of doing when I was 78 pounds heavier, but in reality I had it in me all along; I just needed a change of mindset and some hard work. 👉 @dumpedtodangerous

#nsv To end 2019, I decided to celebrate all of the exciting changes that have come and are on the horizon for 2020. I chose to make a permanent vow to myself to put me first and never depend on others to save me. I decided to put this tattoo on my ribs, after losing over 110lbs, to show just how far this has taken me and will continue to do so. While it hurt due to lack of cushion, I couldn’t be happier with the result. I will save myself. Always. 👉 @osnapitzsaraxo

For years I didn’t go to the beach. I wouldn’t dare put on a one piece even if I put clothes over top. Losing some weight has given me a confidence I haven’t had in years. It couldn’t have come at a better time since we moved to Hawaii this summer. Not only do I love the beach but I have 2 pieces that I wear all the time. It feels so freeing to be happy in the skin I’m in. I’m learning everyday how to love myself a little more! 👉 @fromheavytohappy

Christmas cards for everyone!!!!!! Any chance you have a P.O. Box or was moderately convinced I'm not a crazy person enough to give me your address?? If so...I'll send you a Christmas card!!! Last year I sent out over 1600 cards!! I LOVE this. It reminds the community and even myself that we are all REAL people behind these social media accounts, real hopes, real dreams, and even real pain. We can all be better friends and all a little nicer and supportive. Why not use this magical Holiday season to live that message and spread some love in the process!!
