We may all be going through something… whether it’s known or unknown.

My bro Will said something that stuck with me: it can become our coffin or our classroom. And in this season, we’re choosing the classroom.

So I’ll say this now and say it loud…
If it’s harming you, corrupting your mindset, making you question your worth, or pulling you away from who God says you are… remove it.

I have good days. Great days. And days where doubt creeps in. But through all of it, I choose God.

That doesn’t mean it’s always easy. It doesn’t mean I always feel strong. It doesn’t mean I always have a praise ready. It just means I know where I’m turning.

In this season, I’m holding tight to John 16:33: “In me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Whatever this season is trying to teach me… I’m listening.

Church family, let me talk to us for a minute.

“A lot of times in church it has become a place of perfection, or at least pretentious, pretending perfection.”

Jesus gave His disciples a new commandment and they thought, we can do that. Then He said love them like I loved you, and that’s where it got hard.

He always went to the broken hearted. He didn’t just talk about the broken heart, He created a solution.

Love them like He loved you. Love you, Moore. ❤️

Family, there’s a difference between fighting FOR your marriage and fighting IN it.

Fighting in it is answering everything they say while they answer everything you say, and nobody ever gets to the root.

Fighting for it is going back to the foundation, looking honestly at the damage, and owning the part you played.

And listen, it’s hard to do what you say you want to do. I tell myself 5am and I still hit snooze. So why would we try to change somebody else by fighting them?

Become the change you want to see in that person. And if you can’t do that for the sake of the relationship, maybe it’s time for the relationship to change.

I was a provider. I kept the lights on. Every time she swiped that card, she was good. And I thought that was the whole job.

Looking back, it didn’t make me a good husband.

I knew how to get to that bread, but I didn’t really know how to do nothing else. I wanted my own way. Sometimes we’re selfish and don’t even know it, because our heart is in the right place.

Men, providing matters. But you can get so focused on the finances that you forget how to love.

Married folks, be honest in the comments. What did you think made you a great husband or wife that didn’t?
