There are now 2 naked/clothing-optional bike rides in Tkaronto.

Our community helped create the original one, but it has been co-opted by people who do not reflect the queer, trans, feminist, anti-racist and anti-colonial politics many of us fought to bring into that space.

So we’re creating a new ride for our communities, our politics, and our bodies. A principled split is not a failure. Sometimes refusing false unity is part of building real community.

This ride is for bodily autonomy, self-determination, and body resistance: using our bodies, queer expressions, nudity, covering, gender expressions and public presence to refuse shame, objectification, colonial control, gender policing and fascism.

Let’s keep fighting body oppression while publicly asserting queer, trans and feminist body resistance.

Our bodies are not up for debate. taken in Allan Gardens by @wnbr_toronto

World Naked Bike Ride is an anti-war protest. Queer and trans people are at the forefront of resisting colonial systems. Feminism is not "western values". Feminism lead by indigenous, black, and racialised women is vital to building a movement of resistance against all colonial and patriarchal systems.

Update: Please be dressed when we reach the PYM protest!

Queer & Trans
March + Bike Ride
in Solidarity with Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Turtle Island, and all other people fighting for liberation.

Saturday June 8th, 1pm
@ 519 Church St.
(We’ll march down Church St to People’s Circle for Palestine, then do a bike ride, ending by joining the regular Palestinian Youth Movement protest)

As part of World Naked Bike Ride, this is a clothing-optional anti-colonial & anti-war protest. Don't worry about going naked, bare only as much as you're comfortable. The important part is to bring your liberatory politics!

Important Note: Please be dressed when joining the PYM protest! It is not clothing-optional. We want to respect people's beliefs and keep the focus on protesting against the genocide.

A Celebration of Resistance and a Demonstration Challenging the Violence and Oppression Inflicted on Human Bodies.

This year, because of the escalation of colonial forever-wars against Congo, Sudan, Palestine, and many other racialised people, we invite folks to bring messaging that calls attention to these colonial atrocities and genocides.

This demonstration is meant to build unity between nudist, anti-war, queer, trans, feminist, anti-poverty, anti-racist, and disability justice politics from a perspective of resisting body oppression.

Caution! This event should not be confused with the other World Naked Bike Ride that has been taken over by leadership that has expressed hateful views and has a history of harassment.

Join us this Saturday to meet our performer Miss Diamond!
@the_bifecta
Known for her dominating sensuality. She's a badass who knows exactly what she wants. Strap in because her curves will take you on a bumpy ride that hurts so good, she'll have you coming back for more. Miss Diamond is unapologetically flawless.
