If the girl you used to be could see you now, what would you want her to know?

I’ve been looking back at her today. Before @womnkind. Before the stages, the titles, the rooms I never imagined I would find myself in.

The girl growing up in the country. The big sister. The teenager trying to understand her anxiety. The girl who had so much ahead of her and no way of knowing how it would unfold.

I wish I could sit beside her for a little while. Let her ask her questions. Tell her she doesn’t have to be so hard on herself. That she can ask for help, change her mind and take her time. And that she is already someone worth believing in.

Today, on International Day of the Girl, I hope you all take a moment to think about the girl you used to be💭💌

What made her light up? What did she worry about? What did she need someone to say? Is there something she loved that you could make room for again? You might feel proud of how far you’ve come. You might feel tenderness or grief for what she went through. There is room for all of it🌻✨

Looking back reminds me why we do this work at @womnkind. Every girl deserves to feel seen, supported and believed in while she is growing up. She deserves people who listen, places where she belongs and opportunities to discover what matters to her.

So today, let’s celebrate the girls in our lives. Listen to them. Encourage their ideas. Make it easier for them to ask for support. Give them room to be themselves🥹🫶🏼

And extend some of that same kindness to the girl you once were and the parts of her you still carry. What would you say to her today? 🤍

Stay kind,
Womn-Kind

Who in your life have you stopped checking on because they always seem ok?

The friend who makes everyone laugh. Who remembers the important dates. Who answers your calls. Who somehow keeps showing up, even when life asks so much of them.

It’s easy to get used to someone’s strength. To assume that because they can carry a lot, it isn’t heavy. But being capable or funny doesn’t make someone less deserving of care. And being surrounded by people doesn’t always mean they feel able to tell someone the truth.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s make room for our friends to be more than the version of themselves we’ve come to rely on.

Let the funny friend be serious. Let the dependable friend need something. Let the quiet friend take their time. Let the friend who’s been distant know there’s still a place for them🥹🥰

Sometimes checking in sounds like:
“I’ve missed you. How have you really been?”
“You don’t have to make this sound better for me.”
“Would you like to talk, or would some company feel good?”

Then listen. Make room for an answer you weren’t expecting. Follow up after the conversation.

And if you see yourself in these words: you don’t have to wait until you can’t cope to ask for support. You deserve care while you’re still getting through the day. You deserve to be known beyond how well you hold everything together. 💙

Share this with your people. Then send a message to the person who came to mind.

Stay kind,
Womn-Kind

Your future self deserves a seat at the table, too💸💛

On Sunday, we welcomed Lucy Kough, Founder and CEO of @tap.thegap, to our @womnkind Sydney event to talk about something that deserves much more of our attention: women’s financial futures.

When Lucy learnt about the superannuation gap between women and men, she got mad. Then she got building🔥

The result? Tap the Gap, an app helping turn everyday spending into extra super through optional automatic round-ups and bonuses from participating brands. It also makes learning about super feel a whole lot more approachable.

Because financial wellbeing belongs in the conversation about our wellbeing. Having choices, feeling secure and looking after the person you’re still becoming all matter.

Lucy, thank you for bringing your passion and purpose to our community, and for helping make a complicated topic feel like something we can engage with. 🫶

Get to know @tap.thegap, explore the app and share it with someone who keeps putting their future self at the bottom of the list. Employers and brands: there are ways for you to get involved, too.

“The event that felt like you were sitting around your own family dining table.”

“My cup is so so full and I cannot understate the value of this experience.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever felt so inspired.”

These are just a few pieces of feedback from yesterday and they are words I’ll carry with me for a very long time💌

In my speech, I spoke about the kitchen table. The people we can sit beside without rehearsing an answer to “How are you?” The people who make room for the honest version. Who let us put down everything we’re carrying. The feeling of being known, listened to and loved while we’re still figuring things out.

Yesterday felt like family gathering around one very large kitchen table to share a meal. People arriving on their own and finding someone to sit beside. Honest conversations, big laughs, a few tears of and the relief of hearing someone put words to something you thought only you felt.

That is exactly the feeling we hope to evoke and nurture through Womn-Kind. Somewhere you can show up as you are. Where someone makes room beside them before you’ve even worked out where to stand. Where you can bring your joy, your uncertainty, your big dreams or your anxiety and feel welcome through all of it.

I hope Womn-Kind is somewhere you can begin to trust that there is room for all of you.

That you can be loved while you’re finding your feet. That you can need people and let them know. That you can be proud of who you’re becoming and still deserve tenderness as the person you are today.

There is something deeply moving about watching a community you once imagined become a room full of people. People with their own stories, quietly making their way into one another’s. An unfamiliar face becoming someone you’re laughing with. A conversation giving you the courage to say something you’ve kept to yourself.

Yesterday was only possible because of our generous sponsors and event partners, it incredible speakers, our committed event volunteers, our families and our community.

It is the privilege of a lifetime to spend my days building @womnkind.

Thank you for trusting us with a little of yourselves yesterday🫶🏼🥹

What happens when a young woman refuses to accept that pain should have to be proven before it is believed? She builds something that changes the system❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

We are beyond excited to announce that the brilliant @gracetoombs will be joining us on stage at @womnkind Sydney this October.

Grace represents the kind of leadership we want every young person in our community to see: courageous, deeply human and grounded in the belief that our hardest experiences can become a force for change. She doesn’t just speak about a better future - she is actively building one🚀🫶🏼

This will be a powerful conversation about trusting your voice, challenging what isn’t working and having the courage to create the change you once needed yourself. If you’re ready to feel inspired, understood and reminded of what is possible, you need to be in this room.

✨ Sunday, 4 October 2026
📍 The Rocks, Sydney
🎟️ Tickets are available now at womn-kind.com.au/shop

Buy your ticket. Send this to someone you want beside you. Bring your daughter, sister, friend or favourite young person - and come experience a day designed to stay with you long after it ends.

You never really know what might be happening beneath the surface. Someone can be successful and struggling. Surrounded by people and lonely. The first to offer help and the last to ask for it. They can laugh loudly, show up fully and still be carrying more than anyone knows.

This #RUOKDay, don’t only check in on the friend you’re worried about. Check in on the one who seems fine. The one who has gone quiet. The one who never asks for help. The one who always says, “I’m just busy.”

Ask the question. Listen without rushing to fix it. And remember - the most meaningful check-in is rarely the one that happens just once. Tell people you love them. Don’t assume that they know.

Who are you checking in on today? Send this post to them and let them know: “I’m here, and I really mean it.” 💛

If this brings something up for you, support is available through Lifeline on 13 11 14. If you’re in immediate danger, call 000.

Stay kind,
Womn-Kind

SYDNEY, meet Maya Neagle!!💫

We could not be more excited to welcome @mayavneagle to the Womn‑Kind stage this October - and trust us when we say, this is a session you’ll want to be in the room for.

At just 22, Maya is a wellness and lifestyle creator, business and marketing student AND soon-to-be qualified health and wellness coach and Pilates instructor. She is also preparing to launch @thefullbeing, a podcast exploring what it means to build your whole self - gently, honestly and one small step at a time🥹

Maya’s work exists in the beautiful space between rest and ambition. Her approach to wellness isn’t about rigid routines, impossible standards or trying to perfect every part of your life at once. It’s about creating a version of wellbeing that feels realistic, holistic and genuinely yours🫶🏼✨

At our Sydney event, Maya will guide us through an honest, interactive and deeply practical session designed to help you think differently about the life you’re building…beginning with what truly matters to you, rather than everything you think you need to change.

Expect reflection. Expect clarity. Expect to leave with something meaningful, personal and completely your own.

This is your chance to slow down, tune out the noise and spend time becoming someone you can wholeheartedly stand beside.

We are counting down the days. And you’ll want to be there 🎟️ Secure your ticket via the link in our bio!!

Stay kind (and get excited!!!)
