I remember attending a formation talk at @passioncity years ago by @dr.nabeelqureshi who spoke about the Trinity. He spoke in a way that fundamentally changed the way I understood LOVE and how it could only emanate from a perfect triune God. I will never forget that man nor what he planted inside of me, which was a burning desire to pursue God on a deeper level, and decided seminary was the path.

I couldn’t be more grateful for this chapter in my life, but more so for the people who were such a significant part of writing it. I will attempt to thank some of them here.

To God who gave me so many people to help in the journey. Second to my wife, @jwoods3810 who honored and supported me in ways that I will cherish the rest of our life.

To @louiegiglio + @shelleygiglio for your constant investment into making ways for people to know God and grow closer to Him, including Passion Institute. To @jakecgross + @aaronbcoe for setting the foundation of partnership with @dallasseminary and to @markyarbroughdts for starting my journey with the Story of Scripture, 5,12,5,5,12 - 4,1,21,1 and continuing to inspire carriers of the Gospel.

To friends and teammates who encouraged and loved along the way, you helped me know I was never alone.

Closing this chapter with even more excitement to pursue Him than when I began. To God be the glory and honor to the people who are in this story! by @woodsonj

What would you do, if you saw heaven?

The significance of the past few days took a different shape for reasons I would have never thought. They’ve been so difficult due to reminders of our broken world, but hopeful and holy because of the promise in glimpses like this.

The cross is not convenient

but it is Complete

Jesus sits on His throne

TEAM - grateful doesn’t cut it when it comes to these people. They are Kingdom builders, they are sons and daughters, they are problem solvers, they are artists and architects, craftsmen and story tellers.

FAMILY UPDATE // when God planted adoption on our hearts so many years ago we had no idea what it would look like.In 2019 when we got the surprise of a life time which of course is now our 3 year old adventure, but now here we are almost 9 years after @jwoods3810 first shared with me and we are so in awe of the story God has written for us.

But as most of you know adoption has quite a cost, and while we tried to do our best to save up, the current path we are on is still financially steep! If you feel at all led we would love for you to give towards this and/or join us in prayer !!! - Jordan will also be doing a bake sale so stay tuned!! S E V E N

I just recently celebrated 7 years on team at Passion. Looking back on my time I’ve taken a few turns I didn’t expect and paid some prices I didn’t know would cost so much. Yet in all of it, I’ve been given more than I could have ever imagined. Learned the importance of asking for the grace to stay and see God’s work, and the gift it is to get to “go and figure it out!”. I couldn’t be more grateful to the incredible team I get to share this journey with and the leaders who have believed in me and trusted me to carry a piece of the story God’s writing. Thank you @courtneybhurd for your fierce friendship, belief and consistent care, @jakejel for the empowering trust you’ve always placed in me, and @louiegiglio + @shelleygiglio for your constant yes that has forever impacted me and my view of who Jesus is. And @jwoods3810 could not have chosen this journey without you and walking every single step alongside me. I’m filled with faith + hope towards the next season and cannot wait to see what He does! by @woodsonj
