Don’t mind me- just nerding out about getting to say hello to a real-life astronaut. 😂 Enjoying my time with the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce at the TCCE - Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Annual Conference. We’ve enjoyed listening to some great speakers including retired USAFR colonel Michael Fossum. What a cool guy! I love this chamber, this city, and this job and I feel so lucky to be a part of this team. 🙂 I couldn’t help but say “Can I hug you?! You’re just so cool!!” which he seemed to think was funny. by @wootamanda

I was extremely surprised and honored to be recognized today at the @galvestonchamber Good Morning Galveston event at @texastaildistillery as the Navigator of the quarter. I tell Kyle all the time that the universe keeps me humble, but no one let me know that the universe was taking the day off today in that regard. I’m so lucky to be a part of this amazing organization and to have a supportive group of entrepreneurs that does everything they can to help me to improve myself and my career. If you own a business in the area, I can’t possibly give a stronger endorsement to a group than the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. These people are family. Please consider membership if you want the opportunity to spread the word about your company and improve your own abilities as an entrepreneur. Thank you all again for today. You know who you are. ❤️ by @wootamanda

Spent the morning learning more about Galveston and becoming a Certified Tourism Ambassador, and then took my first trip to @rosenberglibrary and took full advantage of my new library card to get a big, fat stack of books, and even a movie and a card game! :) Definitely starting off their Summer reading program strong! I want to fill out their whole Summer Reading “Bingo Card”! Did you know you get a “welcome” gift when you get a library card? I got this cute hat so everyone knows I like big books and I cannot lie! 📚😂 taken in Rosenberg Library by @wootamanda

Flooferdoodle as a Meat Head drawing from Meow Wolf at Omega Mart in Vegas. Credit to artist @pastprologue.art Really happy I got a photo of this before it somehow disappeared without a trace out of my hoodie pocket. Sad. Still an awesome experience. taken in Meow Wolf Las Vegas by @wootamanda

Loved taking Handgun 101 last night at @tgc_leaguecity! This was my second time ever shooting and I loved the class and already saw a lot of improvement in my accuracy and am also becoming more confident in handling a gun as well. Definitely recommend the course to freshen up or become more comfortable. Also, I started making an “A” for Amanda in the head portion but then my 22 jammed on the last two bullets so I couldn’t finish! So close! 😂 by @wootamanda

Had the best birthday ever at Texas Gun Club League City! Loved attending the July Mixer for the Galveston Chamber of Commerce and it coincidentally fell on my birthday this year, so I got to shoot a gun for the first time! Everyone there was so awesome and welcoming and this is absolutely an amazing place to go shoot, whether you’re an expert or have never shot a gun before like me. :) Coolest birthday ever. @tgc_leaguecity @texasgunclub @galvestonchamber by @wootamanda
