Some conversations need more than one voice 🤍

For our first Penn & Kural workshop, we knew this space needed to be held alongside a woman who understands listening, guiding and creating safety — especially for moms.

Introducing Ramilla aka @wordsbyrami 🩷
She comes with a calm presence and a way of holding space that feels gentle yet grounding. Through her professional work, she has spent years guiding conversations, nurturing reflection and supporting young minds — experiences that naturally translate into how she connects with mothers today.

Together, Penn & Kural x @wordsbyrami will be creating a space where moms can slow down, feel heard, reflect without judgment and leave with an open mind and possibly a new perspective on motherhood.

This workshop isn’t about fixing — it’s about feeling, noticing and allowing. Trust this space 🩷

Her intention for this space:
“My work centers around healing, self-worth, quiet resilience and becoming who you once needed. It is for those who endured quietly and are now learning how to be gentle with themselves.

Growing up, I rarely saw South Asian women being called wise or looked to for guidance beyond sacrifice and service. Endurance was praised. Silence was rewarded. Strength was measured by how much a woman could carry without complaint.

I didn’t grow up reading inspirational words written by South Asian women who were encouraged to use their voices — to empower, to reflect, to build community. Our inner worlds and insights were rarely centered or named. So I chose to become what I didn’t grow up seeing.

I hope to create a safe space where South Asian women, especially mothers, are allowed to be honest without feeling ungrateful, seen without having to explain and valued not only for what they give, but for what they know.”
