This installation is an experience you step into an immersive room where you lose track of time. You see the stone. 🪨🗿✨🌲
Today, on the 28th, is the last day of this beautiful installation. I feel grateful and happy for what this exhibition became -a space shaped by years of work, care, and persistence- and also a little sad to let it go.

Come by this evening, I’ll be there from 17:30 to 19:30.
If you can only make it later, just let me know; I probably won’t want to lock the doors anyway 🥲

These days are all about working long hours, bathing in paint, and carrying things between the atelier, art shop, and installation space. 😁 It is messy, intense, and exciting, but it is all coming together! Can’t wait to share “Nothing Hides Like Light”, opening October 17th ✨ taken in Fraunhoferstr by @work.inprogress.gallery

In July 2024, our gallery hosted a unique, political art action by @deutscheaidshilfe and @condrobs_ev , the “non-opening” of Bavaria’s first consumption room. This creative stunt sparked crucial conversations about public health and harm reduction. While the press initially believed that a new consumption room was opening, revealing that it was a “non-opening” generated significant attention and awareness. The community had mixed feelings—some were skeptical, others curious—but the impact was undeniable. Local officials also attended, underscoring the importance of the issue. This initiative successfully pushed for a deeper dialogue on progressive health policies. taken in Fraunhoferstraße by @work.inprogress.gallery

During his stay in December, the one and only @godfatherofplastic presented a quirky how-to on all the do´s and don'ts one should consider while using a glue gun. We are delighted to have welcomed his vibrant troupe of frame-busting, at times reactive yet invariably spatial paintings, as well as his droll gang of pre-schooler-sized, cheeky little plastic pals.

See you soon. taken in Fraunhoferstr by @work.inprogress.gallery

Of course, our social media presence is also a work in progress. That's why we're telling you now, with just under 6 months delay, that @simon_ritzenhoff was the first artist to work on our premises.

His huge painting in our shop window was not only a good eye-catcher but also hid the chaotic construction site behind it.
Simon is a good friend of ours, and we are sure he will be back soon. Big thanks for not only his artistic contribution but also his invaluable help during the renovation process. In the meantime, our renovations are finished, and so is Simon's first intermezzo at Fraunhoferstr. 21 by @work.inprogress.gallery

Finally, all of our equipment and most of our team have successfully been relocated to this cozy nook we snagged at Fraunhofer Straße. Following an exhausting overhaul, we are now thrilled to utilize this location by kicking off some projects from the vault.
Among others, we will provide Munich with a new space to display and generate independent art at this exact location. All forms of creation welcome, with no strings attached. Exploiting synergies is highly encouraged, though.
It's going to be something extraordinary and will be tied to numerous other ventures of ours as well.
Stay tuned. Love you.
