were fallible people learning lessons and we wanna be so real with you about that. this week (recorded from the car…start elsewhere if you’re audio-sensitive) is no exception. by @workingactorlife

it’s just not always that serious.

this week’s @workingactorlife is full bts between shoot days & travel.

and the self tape he was watching and who popped in his screen so much she booked immediately?

@laticia.rolle

an actor who happened to mention on set how much she has let go and relaxed into her work…and is currently working nonstop.

what a gift of a lesson to witness from start to finish!

casting and getting booked is often times the right eventful presented at the right time in the right way.

only a tiny bit is in your control. by @workingactorlife

let’s be so real right now: the lil magic 🪄 gets harder to find when your friends all have a mortgage and 401ks

i believe in questioning everything about your working actor life.

NOT EVERY DAY

but sometimes, yes. it’s healthy to review. to check in with yourself, to get clear af on what you’re willing to put up with. you’re gonna change and grow. so will your wants and needs.

we get into the “i’m special” actor trap in this weeks @workingactorlife episode, comment POD and i’ll send it to you 🪄 by @workingactorlife

this weeks @workingactorlife comes from a big question of HOW to use the momentum of a booking *our opinions differ so come get two perspectives* BUT…

often we are making our own actor-victories from NOT booking. here’s how we do just that…

ep 32 of @workingactorlife is all about SCARY 🧟‍♀️AUDITIONS…which would be praised a lot of one of us could say

“and then i booked it!”

but we’re not booked. we’re just busy. and we’re gonna talk about it anyway.

(comment POD for the link sent to your DMs btw)

and we’re wondering if you see yourself in this today…? by @workingactorlife

i call bull-💩

i find the concept of “i didn’t care like at all, so of course i booked it!” to be really unhelpful. actors…yes you do care! you may just care more about other things too!

this weeks @workingactorlife podcast is all trusting the space between auditions and self tapes. ep 31. youtube + all podcast platforms. by @workingactorlife

this weeks @workingactorlife podcast in 17 minutes of truth bombs and mistakes.

we know the agent/manager game is insane, and some of us * cough * sam * have really been through the ringer of personal choices.

let’s slow our roll here and remember what costars don’t make for automatic up-levels. the actor life long game is that…LONG.

and yes it comes with 🍾 problems and a bag of 💩 by @workingactorlife
