Looking forward to @ariakianistudio joining us in our workshop at @hainault_forest again this week. This time he’s creating amazing glass sculptures for @theveniceglassweek coming up soon.

Some of you will recognise Aria from recent work with local children to make Glass Chilli Peppers as part of our @do_morered Megamix Summer Activities. We are so pleased to be able to enable local communities to have the highest quality glass making experiences with national and international glass artists and makers, including our own @glass_hack_projects and @jonlewisglass.

You’ve met Sarah doing glassblowing - now come and experience her teaching gamelan, an amazing traditional percussion orchestra from Indonesia. You need no previous musical experience to begin playing and Sarah will guide you through how to play these beautiful and sonorous instruments.

Book your places through the fantastic Redbridge MEGAMIX scheme, there are sessions at 10am and at 1pm on Wednesday 26 August.

☔️ come inside and see the instruments during the day in the Foxburrow’s Barn at Hainault ☔️

Sarah teaches gamelan at @redbridgemusicservice and will be starting an adult group on Tuesdays from 8 September. Please contact them for further information about joining the FREE introductory sessions. by @workinglass
