I went co-working in a church hall with writer friend Jewels @bmused.us , who I met @theboneproject.co workshop in Lisbon.

We walked along the beach, through the fields, and ended up working side by side somewhere I never would have expected! LOL the WiFi code was #GODISGREAT

And it reminded me - so many good things come from doing the thing you nearly talk yourself out of because you’re too busy!!! too tired!!! or not sure it’s worth it!!

But mostly meeting new people is worth it - especially if they’re striving for the same as you!

That’s what SHOW UP will feel like.

Seven days of saying yes to your practice, alongside other people doing the same.

We start Monday. Comment SHOWUP and I’ll send you the link.

Ps. Also very impressed the church had @oatly milk and a vegan sausage roll on offer ❤️ by @workshowgrow

Everything happens in a pop-up WhatsApp group - people sharing, encouraging each other and getting stuff done!

If WhatsApp groups feel overwhelming, you’ll also get the daily prompt by email each morning, so you can still take part in your own way.

The group itself is brilliant though -have a look at what people said after the last challenge.

SHOW UP starts Monday 19 October.
7 days. One small action a day. Free.

Some thoughts from experience….

If you’re finding your way back to your creativity, you do not need to do it with a massive plan.

You can come back slowly. You can rest. You can have a life outside your work. And you can let other people help you.

That’s exactly why I made SHOW UP.
For 7 days, we’re giving our creative practice some proper attention again.

One small action a day. A WhatsApp group full of artists, photographers and creatives doing the same thing alongside you.

No pressure to make something brilliant. No need to have it all figured out.
Just show up.

We start Monday 19 October.
It’s completely free.

If your practice has slipped down the list, this is your invitation to put it back.

The last time we ran one of these challenges, the pop-up WhatsApp group was brilliant. .

That’s why I’m doing it again.

SHOW UP is a free 7-day challenge for artists, photographers and creatives who want to reconnect with their practice and give it some proper attention - again!

One small action a day. A group doing it alongside you. No need for a clear week or loads of extra time.

We start Monday 19 October.

I’m not perfect at showing up for my practice either.
But I do want to do better.

Life gets busy. The admin takes over. Family needs you. Work needs you. And somehow your creative work keeps getting pushed further down the list.

That’s exactly why I made SHOW UP.

For seven days, we’re going to reconnect with our creative work together. One small action a day. No pressure to make something brilliant. No need for a clear week. Just a reason to give your practice some proper attention again.

We just opened sign ups and 105 artists, photographers and creatives have already joined us!!

We start Monday 19 October and it’s completely free.

Come and do it with me.
