One year ago today, World Without Exploitation brought Epstein survivors to Capitol Hill.

What followed was a year of courage, advocacy, and action: the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, cutting-edge legislation aimed at strengthening survivor protections, and a critical shift in public awareness.

But the work is far from over.

The next year is about getting closer to the truth, demanding long-overdue accountability, and building protections that will make a difference for survivors everywhere.

Today, your impact goes twice as far. An anonymous donor is matching every gift to World Without Exploitation 1:1, up to $100,000.

Help us keep the pressure on. Donate through the link in our bio or visit bit.ly/WorldWEDonate. by @worldweus

For five administrations, survivors of Jeffrey Epstein have been left in the dark, waiting for answers and accountability. After three decades, it’s finally time to bring the secrets out of the shadows.

We are demanding the release of ALL the Epstein files. The time is now! Call your member of congress and tell them to VOTE YES on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Take action at worldwithoutexploitation.org

Recent cases at Cornell and LSU have once again brought national attention to sexual violence on college campuses — and the cultures and systems that too often fail survivors. The fight against sexual assault and sex trafficking is interconnected, requiring us to challenge sexual entitlement, exploitation, and the systems that allow harm to persist.

On October 8, World Without Exploitation is proud to partner with Women’s March, me too. International, Feminist Generation, and Feminist for the National Day of Action to Stop Sexual Violence. Together, we’re joining survivors and advocates across the country in demanding action, accountability, and an end to sexual violence.

I Am Jane Doe is a call to stand with survivors, demand accountability, and challenge the cultures and systems that allow sexual violence to persist.

WorldWE will be on the ground in New York City and Washington, D.C. 💚

Find an event near you. Wear green. Show up. Stand with survivors.

A few more moments from the 10th Annual Last Girl Awards at @asiasociety!

We were honoured to recognize Liz Stein (@lizsteinonline), Janet Jensen (@thejensenproject), Dr. Vandana Shiva (@vandanashiva1), and @worldweus's Rachel Foster (@rachel67bk), Rebecca Zipkin (@becdz), and Lauren Hersh (@laurenhersh0907) for their work fighting exploitation and advancing women's rights.

Thank you to our presenters Katalin Bogyay (@katalinbogyaay), Neha Vashi (@nehavashi9), Pamela Morgan (@wimnewark), Bill Silverman, and emcee Shubhra Prakash (@sh000bz.artist) for joining us to honor this year's honorees.

On Gandhi’s birth anniversary, we reflected on what it means to stand against violence while uplifting those who are too often left behind—the Last Girl. The evening also gave us a chance to remember our dear friend Gloria Steinem, and the decades she spent standing with us in this work.

And through the work of our Artists in Residence and two songs of resilience from @martharedbone, we celebrated the power of art and activism.

From demanding accountability in New York to the work we continue in communities across India, we carry forward the commitment that no girl should ever be bought or sold.

College campuses are once again confronting urgent questions about sexual assault, accountability, and the systems that determine what happens after someone comes forward.

Recent cases at Cornell and other universities have sparked outrage and renewed conversations about how institutions respond to allegations of sexual assault, how accountability is handled, and what happens when systems fail survivors.

Join us LIVE on Monday, October 5 at 1 PM ET for a conversation about the college sexual assault crisis and the culture surrounding it.

Jess Michaels and Jane Manning, alongside WorldWE’s Lauren Hersh and Becca Zipkin, will unpack recent cases, institutional responses, and what needs to change to better support survivors and prevent harm.

On Gandhi’s birth anniversary, I had the honour of presenting Apne Aap International ’s Tenth Last Girl Awards at Asia Society in New York, recognising courageous leaders who stand up for the Last Girl against sexual violence. We honoured survivor leader Liz Stein who has turned her experiences into a fight for justice from Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking, and advocates Lauren Hersh, @rachel67bk Foster, and Rebecca Zipkin, who are demanding accountability from the powerful people and institutions that enabled his abuse. We honoured Janet Jensen—survivor, filmmaker, and philanthropist—for turning her pain into action for others, and Vandana Shiva, who connected violence against women with the violence inflicted on Mother Earth in the pursuit of corporate profit. Their courage reminds us that standing up to power also means standing beside those who challenge it.

We also paid tribute to our dear friend Gloria Steinem, whose feminism was influenced by Gandhi. Gloria was always on the host committee of our Last Girl Awards and was herself a recipient. For nearly two decades, she chaired Apne Aap’s advisory board, standing alongside the women and girls whose lives and leadership shaped our work. Her absence was deeply felt. So was her presence in the friendships and the work we continue together.

Thank you to our honourees, presenters, @WilliamSilverman @NehaVashi @ambassadorbogyay and most of all our partners at Asia Society, Rachel Cooper and everyone who joined us.

@martharedbone ’s moving performance, accompanied by @AaronWhitby was a gift in itself as was our MC Actor Shubhra Prakash @sh000bz.artist
Together, we carry this work forward towards a world in which no child is bought or sold.

We commend Governor Hochul for appointing Attorney General Letitia James as special prosecutor in the Cornell case. Now we need to give the Attorney General the strongest possible tools to seek justice.

It’s time to close New York’s voluntary intoxication loophole.
Governor Hochul has the power right now to call lawmakers back for a special session and bring A.101 to a vote.

📞 Call Governor Hochul: (518) 474-8390 today. Survivors deserve justice.

Swipe for a script of what to say. → by @worldweus

Everyone, regardless of identity, deserves to learn about their sexuality in a way that’s authentic; not through porn.

The sex shown in porn is not real. It is constructed to be marketable, extreme, and cut through the noise in a 100-billion-dollar industry. As a result, it often depicts acts of violence and erodes viewers’ understanding of consent.

Cisgender, heterosexual men are often behind the demand for—and the creation of—LGBTQ+ porn. The videos are made for their consumption, not as an alternative to sex education; members of the community often speak to this truth. Sex education programming across the country needs to be more holistic and applicable to people of all identities, but porn is not a viable standby. by @worldweus

A former Cornell student alleges seven fraternity members sexually assaulted her in 2024. She reported the incident to campus police, but why were there no criminal charges?

The allegations in the Cornell case are deeply disturbing. Seven men are accused of sexually assaulting a heavily intoxicated and allegedly drugged woman, while messages from a fraternity group chat reportedly referred to sexual access to her as “free” and asked whether “the shop” was still open.

Those messages reflect a broader systemic issue: the normalization of women’s bodies as commodities and a sense of entitlement to sexual access.

And this is not an isolated issue. In Cornell’s own 2025 survey, 35% of undergraduate women who responded reported experiencing nonconsensual sexual contact during their time at the university.

What happened at Cornell is part of a much broader crisis on college campuses, and we cannot talk about that crisis without confronting the culture that helps enable it. by @worldweus
