Delighted to be part of Edge Land Project with its first exhibition at The Long Shop, Leiston, starting Saturday 5th Sept to 1 Nov 2026

Coastal change and steam power are deeply linked through thermodynamics and Earth’s System ontology.
Whilst humans learnt to create great power, Earth’s systems respond through gravitational and kinetic energy.

This energy brings dynamic changes to Suffolk’s coast, century by century, moment by moment.

The resultant ecological changes to saltmarsh determined my contribution to this project.

Do hope you are able to come along to see the range of art on display from Saturday 5th September.

7.30am 30aug2026 looking towards fire on Dunwich Heath from Sudbourne. Incredibly sad to know what is happening in that beautiful area. My thoughts are with the fire crews including Orford’s crew who have been working to control the burning and help evacuations. by @worrallvm

A wonderful relaxing day at Gainsborough House at a PinHole camera workshop with Rowan Collinson and colleague. Rowan is a highly talented young artist photographer. A small group each left with our own hand made cameras and at least 4 pictures taken and developed with eco chemicals. A wonderful new photographic avenue to explore taken in Sudbury, Suffolk by @worrallvm

Samphire sprouting in the marshes. love the colours. So delightful to find prolific growth. A precious plant with so many environmental benefits including defence against coastal erosion. It absorbs carbon and acts as a marine biofilter. A few colour images taken on Nikon D750 with only resolution reductions for web. #edge_land, #saltmarsh #suffolkcoast #plant_photography by @worrallvm
