How Did We Do?

We are sincerely grateful for the generous donations made by you and over 950 WORT listeners to our recently concluded Fall Pledge Drive. You gave over $65,500! That's enough to keep us on the air for a month!

The drive ended about 25% below our goal.

However

Several donors have given us the opportunity to build on the $65,535 we've received. We've pooled their challenge grants into one big $12,500 grant.

All online donations made Monday, October 5, through Sunday, October 11 WILL BE MATCHED. We are only able to accept online donation.s at wortfm.org/donate/.

The LARGE Print

If you are a first-time donor, your donation will be matched two-to-one: A $40 donation nets WORT $120; a $100 donation becomes a $300 donation.

WORT donors who have given to WORT before receive a one-to-one match: A $40 donation becomes $80; a $100 donation becomes $200.

Thank You Gifts

Thank you gifts are still available. Our popular new shirt, WORT: We're Different, is available in all colors (Denim Blue, Warm Gray, Olive) and sizes Small - 5XL, through this Sunday. Thank you gifts are offered based on the amount of your donation, not the doubled or tripled amount from the challenge grant.

These are true challenge grants; we only receive them if you donate. If you missed our drive, or have some extra change, please consider helping us reach our goal by taking advantage of this opportunity! taken in WORT FM by @wortfm

We are beyond thankful to all of our wonderful volunteers who took time out of their weeks to answer the phones for our fall pledge drive! 📞

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to support WORT so we can keep bringing independent, community-powered radio to Madison. Every pledge keeps our hosts on the air, our music library growing, and local voices front & center. This station runs on people like you, and we couldn’t do it without you 🎶

Missed the drive? You can still support WORT anytime at wort-fm.org 🧡

The WORT building has undergone changes since the first picture was taken in 2007.

We came up with 5 differences we thought were significant. How many can you find?

The first person to list at least those 5 below this post gets their choice of the new “WORT, We’re Different” shirt for this pledge drive, or a glow-in-the-dark WORT baseball hat.

For a special pledge drive edition of Radio Literature tonight on @wortfm I’m pulling out all the stops. It’s @ayjay53 live from NYC, and we’re giving you the world’s greatest government public information program of all-time: a sample of the USDA’s venerable Consumer Time. I assure you it’s not what you’re expecting, and it was all written by federal employees who knew exactly what they were doing. 7:30 PM on 89.9 FM locally, wortfm.org worldwide! taken in WORT FM by @wortfm
