POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My mother-in-law and I shared more than a name. We shared a deep sense of responsibility to family and an unrelenting belief that we can all be (and feel) better. Most of all, we shared being @wovickers’s biggest fans and, sometimes, biggest aggravations.

Pam was an elegant, funny, and tenacious light who expected the best from us because she saw the best in us. She was the hub of the family. She weathered many hard chapters in her life, but she never let them harden her. Instead, she embraced her strength with a unique poise and softness entirely her own.

She had a gift for cultivating relationships with everyone and everything around her, noticing and addressing the needs of all living things, human or not. The unexpected loss last week has created an immeasurable absence.

I am so lucky to have loved her and even luckier to have been loved by her. by @wovickers
