We never make a compost without EM inoculation. Speeds up breakdown of carbon rich material like dry leaves and woody material.

EM microbes ferment organic material instead of purifying it 👃

As we know traditional hot composting burns off a large percentage of organic mass as carbon dioxide and water vapour yet EM or low oxygen composting retains higher percentage of original carbon and mass thus yielding a more carbon dense final soil amendment.

Worms ❤️ EM too

Remember to dilute heavily with a ratio of 1:500 that's like a teaspoon of EM per 5 litres of water. Remember EM-1 is acidic with a ph of 3.5 and can easily burn worm skin if not used correctly.

Are you interested in knowing how to make your own EM ?

Been super busy making compost with Kabwata Primary School pupils. We made a thermophilic compost and they monitor the temperature and turn it when it gets hot.

Next project is vermicomposting and learn about worms. We are preparing for the rains and to plant more trees for the Food Forest.

Do you want to sponsor a school and plant a food forest for them ? We can make it happen. This is our first project and any help or support would be appreciated. If interested, inbox me and l can share the list of trees and plants we seek. Kids shall not be hungry at school. It’s a basic human right we must protect. GOOD FOOD FOR ALL.

After making your first real coffee ☕️ you ain't going to a cafe ever again .

I have always seen these 3 coffee beans trees in the farm and fascinated by the cherry red colour of ripe coffee beans. The sheer thought of making coffee frightened me as l thought it was a complicated process. I have always consumed coffee in cafes not Actually made it from harvest.

Have you eaten a fresh coffee berry 👀

It has a delicious sweet sugary watery flavour that melts in your mouth for a brief sweet encounter. This sticky mucilage layer which is gooey, gel-like substance is actually rich in sugars and pectins..Such a sweet delight as you spit the seeds. 😋😋😋😋😋

Wash the seeds and dry for 2 weeks. Remove the outter skin or husk. Your coffee beans will look lightish green in colour. Roast on your stove til you see the soft brown oily shine on the beans and smell the smooth coffee aromas . One simply beautiful experience 👌 The coffee was Divine 💥💫

Guess what l will do with the coffee grounds 🤫😉

In partnership with @loctagunaorganics, we hosted @tealsistersfoundationzambia for a wellness workshop on healthy eating and growing your own vegetables.

We had a food jam 😋 and ended with seed planting in trays which they took home to kick start their gardens. What incredible brave and courageous people with incredible stories of survival.🥰😇💯💥💫
