yeah and so what if a summer storm rained us off the patio and the humidity snuffed out the mixer/mic, I got to spend the night in a room full of people quiet & listening, leaning in & really listening to the poets scrolling their notes apps & shouting across the bar, what a gorgeous gift it is to be alive together

Sunsets shimmer off the summer snowglobe, pollen puffs surround us
suspended in extension snaked spotlights floodlights for foolish lovers' fodder in the gravel grapple with the tickle in their throat

last week's poem can be seen on display in the Arts Worcester gallery; later this week I'm performing at the Museum of Worcester

one of the two writing workshops I enrolled in is finishing up this week, and the second has me deep in the drafts. the workshop I'm facilitating is halfway through

I have six medical appointments this month because I'm really good at time management and not at all suffering by @writeonpoet

look for the people that treat you like a star, people that don't just wait for their turn on stage but really listen, and just lean in with everything you got
