We have over 30 dogs in our care - rescued from Ugandan scammers. All suffered abuse - starved, mutilated, burnt. Untreated cancers or imprisoned for days on end. They are all safe and receiving excellent veterinary care and love, but each rescue costs us and depletes our funds and prevents us getting more out from the torture of the hell shelters. 🏡❤️ THIS COULD BE THE HAPPY ENDING OUR DOGS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR! 🐾

Just look at this land. 🌿 So much greenery, a secure perimeter fence, and space for our dogs to run, play, explore and finally feel safe. A place where they can feel at home, surrounded by people who care about them. ❤️

There is even space for our caretakers to stay with them, making sure our dogs have everything they need, day and night. Someone there to watch over them, care for them and make sure they are never left alone without the attention they deserve. 🐕🏡

They deserve this. Every single one of them. ❤️

This little dream, something we have been fighting so hard for, is finally within reach. We are SO CLOSE! 😭🙏

💔 OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN, BUT WE MUST KEEP FIGHTING.

Losing our beloved Laura has left us heartbroken. But we cannot give up. We must push harder than ever to secure this land for the animals in our care. 🐾

Right now, our dogs are spread across several different locations, each with a different caretaker. Providing food, managing expenses and coordinating their care is already incredibly difficult. And Uganda is not an easy country to operate in. Even the simplest things can become a huge challenge.

Securing this land would make a real difference. It would give us one place where we could bring the animals together, manage their daily care more effectively, and finally focus more of our time and resources on finding them loving homes.

And if our finances eventually allow it, we want to do more — to help other animals facing horrific abuse, mutilation and, ultimately, death at the hands of dog cullers.

But first, we need to secure this land. We cannot do it alone.

🤍 In loving memory of our sweet Lora 🕊️

Our hearts are truly broken. Our beautiful, gentle Lora was taken from us so suddenly — we believe she was attacked by a wild animal, in a tragic, heartbreaking incident we never could have foreseen. There are no words to describe how much we are missing her already.

This loss is hitting us harder than we can say. Over these past few weeks, we have said goodbye to several precious souls, and each one has left such a deep mark on our hearts. Losing Lora this way feels almost too heavy to bear 💔

This unbearable pain has only deepened our resolve. We know now more than ever how desperately we need that safe, secure land — a place with strong, proper fencing, where every single one of them is fully protected and at peace. That is the future we are fighting for, so no precious life is ever lost this way again.

💔 When we first got Buddy, he was in an absolutely terrible state. Today, he finally knows what it feels like to be loved and to matter to someone. ❤️🐾

💔 We still haven’t received the support we desperately need, even though so many wonderful followers have shared our plea. And for every single share, we are truly grateful. ❤️

We know times are hard for everyone. We’re not asking for big donations. Any help, no matter how small, could make a difference.

Bringing our dogs together in one place would mean so much. It would help reduce the costs of maintaining three separate locations, even if only a little. Every saving matters when you’re struggling to cover the bills.

💔 HOW MANY MORE TIMES DO WE HAVE TO BEG?

Almost every single day, we post appeals. We ask for help with food, bills and a safe place for our dogs. And yet, we are still struggling to reach our goal.

We've raised just $351 out of $2,500. That's all we have so far.

Our dogs are currently spread across THREE different locations. Keeping them all in separate places means constant expenses, more bills to pay, and another day of worrying about how we will afford to keep going.

We aren't asking for luxury. We're asking for a chance to bring them together in ONE safe place they can finally call home. 🐾❤️

Securing this land would help us reduce the burden of maintaining three separate locations and give our dogs a chance at a more stable future.

It's heartbreaking to keep asking for help and still be so far from our goal. But we cannot give up on them. They depend on us, and we owe them every chance we can give.

🚨 PLEASE HELP US KEEP THE SAFE HOUSE OPEN. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. 😔🐾

We are now just over 10 days away from potentially losing the Loutraki Safe House due to lack of funds.

Thanks to a kind recent donation, we are a little closer, but we are still €250 short on rent and around €100 on electricity. Without this money, we may have to close our doors.

With my personal situation becoming increasingly difficult and Oksana already overwhelmed financially, this could be the first month where we are not able to cover the rent.

My return to Greece keeps getting postponed for financial reasons, and I've struggled to keep this Instagram account active. Unfortunately, that has also meant very little financial support coming in at a time when we desperately need it.

I knew from the beginning that keeping this place running would be difficult, and I've tried everything I could to make it sustainable. But the truth is, I cannot do this alone. I'm struggling to cover even my own basic expenses and feed my dogs, while so many animals still need food, medication, veterinary care, sterilisation, vaccinations and homes.

💔 AND THEN THERE IS PLUTO.

The last six months at the Safe House have been the best of Pluto's life. After spending over two years in a dark basement, he has transformed into a happier, healthier & more trusting dog. He has finally experienced freedom, safety and affection.

We have been searching for his forever home for months, but so far, without success. We recently had a promising conversation with a potential adopter, but unfortunately, things did not work out.

If the Safe House closes, Pluto has nowhere safe to go. Oksana is already caring for numerous cats and three dogs, one of whom cannot live alongside Pluto. Returning him to the basement or leaving him on the streets is simply not an option.

We are urgently looking for a temporary foster for Pluto while we continue searching for his forever family. If you can help, please get in touch.

We have also started preparing a space in a nearby field for some of the cats who already live there, as we try to plan for the possibility of losing the apartment.
