The pizza place down the street in Seattle shouldn’t look like the one in Dallas! A wall that could only exist in your neighborhood starts with getting to know it: the history, what grows there, the colors of the block, the people who walk by every morning. that’s where most of my projects begin, way before I pick up a brush 🌈

save this for your next wall project 💗 by @wwideeyedd

thanks to our pal @wwideeyedd for bringing us on to help install this retro inspired mural on this funkadelic wall at @steviesfamous ‘s new location on phinney ridge!

**fun facts**: this *famous* pizza restaurant is named after a pug 🐾 and their sourdough starter is named… ruth! 🤍

thanks also to the staff for feeding us and to these @tbahama umbrellas that just keep giving us life… ⛱️ it was a scorcher 🔥

mural design + the cutest cover photo 🤳🏼 by @wwideeyedd (she made some real nostalgic 🦄moments happen inside too - gotta go check it out and get a ceaser 🥗 and a slice 🍕!)

🌸🐇 Step into a playful, enchanted garden by artist Rosie Alyea from @wwideeyedd featuring a soft bunny chasing a slithering snake.

🎨 This mural is part of @cityofburienecondev’s Burien Tourism Mural Art Program, in partnership with @urbanartworks. Through this initiative, 12 professionally designed murals are coming to commercial corridors in Burien.

🌮✨ Tacqueria Jalisco is located in the Boulevard Park commercial neighborhood of Burien Taqueria Jalisco in Burien. Rosie’s whimsical mural celebrates a welcoming, family-friendly neighborhood restaurant.

Rosie (@wwideeyedd) and I are in the business of bringing imagination to life, and it is a SERIOUS business!! Swipe to see how it progressed 👀👯‍♀️💖🌈

With drawings created by @phinneypreschoolcoop’s Pre-K Class of ‘26, we designed this colorful and interactive mural for a landscape of imaginative play; and installed it with the help of many volunteers, families, students, and PNPC alumni. 🐉 It was truly a color-filled weekend of fun, and we loved hearing everyone’s great memories made in the play space ♥️

Thank you to project sponsors and collaborators who made it all possible!

45 Years of the @phinneypreschoolcoop!
What a way to celebrate, transforming a beloved parking-lot-turned-playspace 🌈⚓️🐸🪷🌧️🐚 Rosie @wwideeyedd and I were so inspired by Pre-K ‘26’s incredible imaginations! What followed was a weekend of frenetic community pavement painting 💗

Thank you @phinneyneighborhoodassociation, @phinneypreschoolcoop, and @seattle_neighborhoods for making this project possible.

Thanks for project partners @phinneyridgepainting and @mallorypaintstore for all your time, materials and expertise; we couldn’t have done it without you!

Finally HUGE thanks to our fearless leader @rosalobo, who envisioned a mighty transformation through community co-creation 💗
