Today we got called to be a panellist on Arnab Goswami’s show on Republic and talk about our work during these trying times.
It is a big milestone for Grey Shades to be covered on national television.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of you who has guided, helped and supported us in our mission and especially to all the volunteers who’ve put the needs of the elderly before their own over these last few days.

We hope our work inspires others to help each other during this time of need.

Two years ago, I genuinely didn’t know if I’d get back to dancing. And now here I am, at a Latin festival with ZERO revision classes. 😂

This festival pass had been carried forward because of my knee surgery, so finally making it back felt kinda unreal. I just showed up and trusted muscle memory to do its thing because clearly, umm, the pass was going to waste otherwise. 🙈

Obviously, most of the moves were completely new to me, and my body was constantly like, “Are we SURE we want to do this?” I was thinking about my knee, my back, and whether I was going to injure myself again.

But somewhere along the way, I stopped overthinking (kidding) and just started dancing. Footwork was shit, styling was too, but my friends kept reminding me to just have fun.

My feed is full of perfect dances, so here’s to the slightly messy, self-doubting ones too. The ones where you’re still figuring it out, but you show up anyway.
