Yoga in Hay

We currently have spaces in our beginners level classes - open to all - on the following days :

Monday 8-9.30am

Tuesday 9-10.15am

Wednesday 6.30-7.45pm

Saturday 10-11.30am

Sunday 9-10.15am

New students welcome.
Book online or pay on the door.
All equipment provided including mats.

Please message for more info or pop into the chapel for an informal chat and look around.

We’re open every morning from 8am til 1pm and weekday evenings 5pm til 8pm

You can find us in Hay opposite the castle next door to the launderette.

To really lengthen the spine and create space, sometimes we use the ropes for ‘flying dog’

Decompress and leave class feeling a little bit taller

My recent Sun and Moon art duo is for the first time showing at The Wye Valley yoga centre, another jewel in the crown of Hay-on-Wye, on the Welsh-English border: @wyevalleyyoga

It is a conducive and spacious environment for these new works, which sit comfortably with the reception’s tasteful interior and colour palette. But more importantly, as the Sun and Moon are upheld as precious icons in India and Tibet, they each hold auspicious and significant meaning for Buddhist and Hindu practitioners. As indeed they are for other cultures worldwide.

The frames were carefully chosen for their maximally minimal aesthetic and, as a very special favour, assembled with great skill and patience by Louie English: @englishoutdoors

... and if you didn’t know already, I am personally leading sitting meditation from 5 - 6 pm every Tuesday in the Yoga studio - which holds a blissfully peaceful atmosphere. All are welcome. by @wyevalleyyoga

Thank you to everyone who came to our #inversions workshop today.

Learning how to learn them, what comes first, how to work towards a specific pose.
What contraindications are there?
What to practice instead.
